Toni? You serious? He's not the best choice for our dynamic system of playing football. Better than N'Gog, but too static player

In my opinion can't. Anyway Agnelli came back in Juve as chairman and for the next season he granted we would spend 80 milion in the trasnfer market. But Juve today lost the last chance to reach 4th place. I don't Know if Torres could accept it... But in Italy we consider it just a dream.
The first choice for Juve seems to be Edin Dzeko.

If Torres was to ever leave us, Juve is the one club, that I would want him to go to.

I agree whats luca toni actually done

your right mate what has he done?  hes only scored 30 goals twice in serie A. then in his first season scored 39 goals in cup and league games for bayern munich and voted player of the season. plus a world cup winner in 2006. plus i only said him because he said he wanted to come to anfield in january. so i thought you know what why not take him on loan till end of season as backup. but no i get slated. you lot probably  think ngog is better :no

Liverpool have reportedly opened talks with Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart over a potential summer switch.

Anfield chiefs held talks with a fortnight ago with representatives from Los Blancos following the Reds' Europa League semi-final first leg in the Spanish capital against Atletico Madrid.

However any deal will be dependent on the future of manager Rafael Benitez, who is set to meet chairman Martin Broughton this afternoon for showdown talks.

It is understood that Benitez was not consulted on an approach to Los Blancos for the Holland international with Juventus still confident of luring him to Turin despite a reluctance by the Kop boss to meet their deadline before the end of the week.

Highly-rated van der Vaart, 27 is one of several Galacticos expected to leave the Bernabeu as part of a summer clear-out.

I suppose this is inevitable while the big willy contest between the manager and the board is going on. I'd be interested to know who is advising the club who to bid for if Benitez isn't been consulted. Watch out for a sneaky enquiry about Joe Cole along with a surprise desire for the Londoner to join us. Perhaps we'd seek an experienced and cheap centre half and find Ricardo Carvallho arriving on a free (not a bad shout that one as it happens). Maybe even Luceo would make it clear he fancied a move to the Prem and that Liverpool would be his favoured destination. Some managers don't necessarily need to break the bank, we need one of those.

Someone who 'knows someone' within the club, yeah I know that's hardly credible, however, word is Simao is on the horizon again for around £8 million.
Lad I work with who lives near the ground has a mate who works for the club.

Same 'someone' says Rafa is going nowhere by the way.

Not saying any of this is true just what I have been told.

Liverpool Hope to Agree £15m Juventus Swap Deal: Rafa Ready to Offload Aquilani for Italian Forward
by Steven Constable on May 7th, 2010

Anfield boss ready to use midfielder as bait to snare Italian international forward.

Liverpool are reportedly keen on using Italian misfit Alberto Aquilani to help fund a deal to bring Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta to Anfield. With Rafa Benitez apparently ready to cut his losses with the former Roma man and noting the interest in the midfielder from Turin the Spaniard is hoping to come up with a swap deal that could suit the club’s need for more attacking options.

Injury prone Aquilani has had a nightmare season at Liverpool where after his summer arrival he spent the best part of three months battling to return to full fitness and then spent the majority of the season warming the bench only making eight Premier League starts all season.

The Merseyside outfit desperately needs additions to support Fernando Torres up front and whilst Standard Liege man Milan Jovanovi? is due to arrive in the near future the club could still do with another addition and one with top level experience.

With that in mind Benitez has set his sights on Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta who is in his third season at the club after a successful seven year spell at Udinese. The Turin club is set for some major changes this summer and the 30 year old Italian international may find it hard to cement a place in the club’s starting eleven and may well jump at the chance of a move to Liverpool.
