Two goals two different reasons. Mellors against Arsenal was sooo special because we were pushing forward and looking like we had them on the ropes. This approach hasnt happened since Roy Evans as under GH we would settle for a point. Dont know about you guys but that proved to me that we are going in the right direction under the right manager. Also being a southerner surounded most of the time bt Arsenal fans it gave me bragging rights, well for ever actually due to the way we won it.
Gerrards against Olympiakos was amazing for its timing, the quality, the celebration, the manager, the players, the fans, the neutral, Andy Gray. It was important for keeping Stevie G, for brining in much needed money, for our status. For some reason when that goal hit the back of the night I began to sob , I couldnt help it, even now it brings a tear to my eye. The only other time thats happened was when king kenny quit and when Thomas scored THAT goal.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

It`s gotta be stevie G against olympiakos that was just vintage from the best midfielder in the world and the celebration was classic.:D

I can't decide which one of Morientes' goals.  It pushed, I'd say his header against Fulham - excellent cross from Luis Garcia, and one of the best headers from a Liverpool player I've seen for quite a while.

Gerrard's screamer against Portsmouth was as sweet a hit as you'll ever see. I don't blame him for saying "Who da man". :oh:

That said, seeing Portsmouth equalize when the game was practically over took a lot of shine off it.  :(

mine would be Gerrard's winner against Olympiakos!!!

The ball was spinning and he just hit it so sweet, 9 times out of 10 that would have ended up in the car park!

The goals I`m gonna remember the longest are probably Gerrard`s against Olympiakos, Mellor`s against Arsenal and Alonso`s vs Arsenal. And off course Baros`s hattrick vs CP. But the look on Biscan`s face after scoring against Fulham; Priceless :)
