Had the journos already said two weeks ago that he had put in a transfer request already ? and that turned out to be more bullsh.it - anything offical from the club , manager or player yet ?

As i stated ages ago mate  - not going to get all upset and shouty and slagging of this and that over rumours and gossip - bridge any alonso leaving when its official - if any of the stuff had been true they have printer he would of gone months ago according to them . i will believe he is going when something official is said by the club,player or manager as opposed to 28 different journo who keep claiming stuff .

Yes we heard arby coming out saying that he wanted to go to madrid and Liverpool are accepting a bid for him .

Xabi may well of handed a request in but will wait till the club say anything official .

Arby did say that the day before his transfer was done n dusted mate.. So lets see what happens over the next 3 days.. Am sure Rafa wouldnt let the transfer happen once the pre season games resume on sunday or i hope to be precise

If it happens mate it happens - not worth crying over spilt milk about it - he isnt the first and wont be the last top player to leave the club but we thank him for 5 years great service wish him well and move on and support the players that are pulling on the shirt this season and hope we replace him with quality to ensure he isnt missed and talk a step forward .

As it stands, agaisnt Spurs would anybody really have any qualms about playing Lucas alongside Mascherano in central midfield? I don't really see the point of dropping Gerrard back there although I suppose you could do that and drop Benayoun in behind Torres.

I would be disappointed for sure..but yeah players come and go..but the club stays n flies high forever .. LFC forever..

Its upto Lucas to step up and prove his worth..if not now then never
