Something is wrong with Suarez... his legs are not coherent.
He can't control simple passes sent to him.
Making bad decisions to round the keeper instead of shooting only to over hit the ball and not able to reach it.

I will replace downing asap.
Replace Sterling too..

The team are again playing too far apart each other.
Once the player received the ball he has no attacking options other than to run with the ball or pass it backwards.
The team is playing better at the later 45mins after getting some message from Brendan during an injury break.
I hope Brendan give them a piece of his mind...

That pitch really looks a right state. Should be at least 3 up by now. Suarez has missed some very good opportunities

The whole team is disjointed.. The midfield is missing during an attack from Zenit
And goes missing during their attack on Zenith..
They are not covering each other properly..
The three groups (defense, midfield and attack) seems to operate separately like companies.
Each with their own boss unable to work together.. disappointing.
No fluidity... just getting rid of the ball for the sake of it.
Better change after HT.

While I do agree that we should be ahead in this game, we are also fortunate not to be trailing.  If that makes any sense.  Pepe made two incredible saves and got away with what would have been another howler.

Allen.  Man what happened to the lad.  He started out really calm and steady, but, wow, can't even describe his performances lately.  Allen's performance is totally killing any effectiveness Downing and Sterling can have on the game.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Agree, we are fortunate not to be 2 or 3 down. Really don't know whats going on with Allen, he's had quite a few shockers of late

Allen is poor but Gerrard is shocking. Massive disappointment.

Time to take Suarez off?
Maybe add another striker to help him out?

One of the weakest displays by a striker in a long long time. I just can't believe what i'm seeing. We should have had this in the bag ages ago.

This is why I wanted to play the reserves. These Europa League games were always going to be like this, regardless of which players we're playing. For me, this just isn't worth so much effort for an almost worthless title.

Mate , this Zenit team is a good side.  If we played a team of reserves, we'd sure as Sh*t have gotten spanked in this away leg and be as good as out of the competition.
