Nottingham Forrest vs Liverpool 22/10 Ko 12:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Team news

Liverpool will assess the fitness of forward Darwin Nunez, who complained of a niggle after the midweek win over West Ham.
Naby Keita and Ibrahima Konate will return to full training on Monday.

These lot are bottom of the table, a disjointed side full of new arrivals that can't seem to blend with each other, only 7 goals scored and 23 conceded.
We have not won away so far this season so it is time to change that. Lets keep our winning run going and despatch these lot with ease, I hope.

Going to try and keep my "match thread" winning run going lads, maybe it brings some luck  :D .

Like I say in every match thread we need a clean sheet and build from there, they will undoubtedly sit deep so I can’t really see a blowout but we should have enough to get past this lot. We don’t really have a difficult match in the premier league except Chelsea until January, we need to really go on a winning run and the schedule should make that possible.

Yeah we’ve had a poor start no one is denying that but it does have to be said the fixtures haven’t exactly helped, when you are bang out of form you could do without having to play the likes of City, Arsenal, United and Everton. We were due to play Chelsea as well but it got postponed. Half of our games have been toughie’s. We’ve only played a handful of games and they have mostly been against our main rivals.

I'd be content with a boring 1-0. Important we keep another clean sheet.

I'm not convinced by a midfield of Carvalho, Jones and Elliot.
It's too weak and too inexperienced and gets bullied.

Why is Curtis Jones still playing for us. He brings nothing other than a torso in a Jersey. Long past the point of got talent as well.

Elliot for me hasn't improved. 3 years ago was getting games and was showing how tidy he can be but fwd to now and no difference. Tidy on the ball but just isn't bringing anything else.

Our squad is just so bad due to the age of some and the poor fitness records of others.

Our final ball has been poor and when we do get one into the middle appalling finish. Looking at you VVD.

What a joke, I reckon the Gomez performance against City was an aberration. We are totally impotent up front, need to make changes.

That one they just missed showed just how weak Elliot is. Loses the ball at half way line and no pace to track. Got left for dead.

We've been awful.. I saw the line up and was worried. You've got 5 in the starting line up that's not usual starters. You can't have that many non starters and expect them to play at the level required.

We've took Forrest too lightly and we are paying the price.

If we left City Ground with 0 point, that will be a new low and truly season over

The lack of urgency is really concerning.. have we really come to the point that this is considered a  acceptable result?
