All they do is pass sideways and backwards with none of them willing to try and make something happen. They just don't want to be the one getting caught with it so pass it to someone as quick as you can.

We could play for the rest of the day like we are now and never look like scoring.

No point looking around for the "perfect midfielder" 90% of midfielders could walk into our first 11 at the minute.

Awful result and performance.

Klopp needs to accept that some of these platers are past their best.

Klopp takes the blame for this imo. Made to many changes to compensate for the injury prone players and places to much confidence in the younger lads who aren't stepping up.

It's the under investment over the last few years along with the drive to do things on the cheap has us where we are. Klopp says he is very happy with his squad so has to take blame as well.

We weren't unlucky either but they were as they could have won by 2 or 3 easy only for Ali.

Haven't a hope of challenging for that league this year and the worrying thing is that side is finished challenging for silverware.

Injuries to players like Diaz, Thiago, Nunez and Jota has left us short of quality and it shows. Arguably the most disappointing defeat of the season because it looked like we had turned a corner.

Played with a 4th choice CB, only one first choice midfielder and only one first choice striker.

Early kickoff, dry pitch, half the team out with injuries but still….. not good enough. As Yakka said, makes it extra disappointing as we felt we turned a corner. Since Klopp came we went from cr@p, to Jekyll and Hyde, to incredibly consistent, to Jekyll and Hyde….

I know circumstances often dictate team line up’s but in an ideal world you wouldn’t throw Elliott, Carvalho and Jones into the same starting XI.

It was like a pre-season team and they played like it as well

I know we've got injuries but the team that played today should have got the job done, that was a disgrace to say the least. Just when you think we've turned the corner and could go on a run we lose to the side that is bottom of the table. We might as well concede that this season will be up and down.
That Van Dijk effort, I don't know why he didn't aim at goal or did he?? It seemed like he was trying to head it to Firmino..
