We need to gain control of the middle of the park which has been missing the second half - need to get a hold of the game again and Henderson gives the team that in the middle

Did you see Brighton playing very compact and parked 9 men in and around their penalty area, thereby making it very difficult for us to feed our front 3?

Poor performance against disciplined Brighton. But it's 3 points and puts us top.   :buttrock  :buttrock

Similar to the Palace game. Workman like performance, not brilliant and another clean sheet.

3 games.. ZERO goals conceded.

Great stuff

Well done Reds, that'll do me.

What do you think our opponents in the league are leaning about us in these games?  We have to learn, but they will also draw their own conclusions.

Listen teams are showing alot of respect and fear for us parking the bus and going ultra defensive. It's how teams set up against City last year and they picked up scrappy points the same way we did today. Not exciting to watch as Brighton was very organised but a very professional performance and a very good 3 points.

Don't think lots of teams will allowed our front 3 lots of movement...teams like Palace and Brighton play to frustrate us, so for us to grind out a win, no goals conceded, perfect record 3 out of 3 this is massive performance imo

Simple pal. We are playing three in Midfield so our opponents are playing five in a 4-5-1 in an attempt to stifle the centre of the park and overrun us etc.

But, it isn't working!
