As reira is the latest player in the doghouse (How many players have fallen out with Benitez ....) & Aquaman "conviently" having flu....

I'd like to see the same team as against portsmouth with Benayoun in for Aquaman.

Kuyt should be nowhere near the 1st team as he has to be sent to train with the youth team to learn basic Footballing skills until the World Cup.

And Lucas shouldn't get anywhere near starting lineup as long as macherano is in it. Its either mascherano or lucas... not the both of them.

And where the f@ck is Pacheco ? He set up the winner last time he got on against the romanian team & bam........ he does a houdini....

If we can play agger as a LB and bring in Greek_god....we would look more solid at the back with the greek_god being a goal threat during corners. But guess thats asking for too much.

There should definitely be an increase in confidence among the team after that Portsmouth win, so I am quietly confident we can turn the tie around. I agree with this Europa League match preview that Lille are likely to get a goal but i cannot see why we cannot score three. Lets hope Rafa is taking this competition seriously and puts a full-strength team out to make sure we progress in Europe.

Under normal circumstances I would be hoping to see a few of our youngsters given a chance tonight (Pacheco, Kelly, N'gog) and give some of our players a rest before the " BIG ONE" next week. I think after our performance against Pompey however that we should try to keep the momentum and flowing football going and pick a strong team. Get a good win and performance to set us up for the mancs.

Was just thinking of Pacheco - but is he eligible to play in the EL ?
