Looking forward to tonights game.

Don't want to put the mockers on it but (call it serendipity) earlier today I was playing football manager AND had a CL group game away at Atletico on Tuesday October 19th 2021 !

We won 6-0 !   

Not expecting that tonight       but if the lads can carry their recent form into this one and don't get complacent we have every chance of coming away with a win.

3-1 to us ?

They are reigning La Liga champions and this season their game in hand will take them joint top. Away at Atletico is about as hard as it gets. A win here would all but take us through.

Our attacking game have fizzled out...don't like Naby in midfield. Would have Fabinho in for 2H

One minute we are 2-0 up and cruising the next it's 2-2 and but for Alison we could easily be 4-2 down, we never do anything easy.

, tbh I would've started with Fabhino ahead of "Maybe" Keita

Well I've seen two different halves of the same match that seem like two different games, but this one so far had two different games within a single half! At first Atletico looked like another Watford but then got back into the game thanks to some awful defending by us. Also, I think their second goal shouldn't have stood.

Anyway, a draw wouldn't be the end of the world against Atletico away but a win will make things a lot easier for us to finish top of our group. Should make absolutely sure that we don't lose though.

Yeah I thought Lamar prevented Joel from making a goal line block.
Fab on for Naby, that should help us defensively, saying that Alison has just saved our @rses again!

At first I thought the ref had lost the plot but when they showed the replay...Jesus...it was a ridiculous challenge, like something out of a Bruce Lee movie. No idea why everyone was looking so quizzical, it was a definite red.
