Atalanta - Bergamo's Sacrifice

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Terrific performance, our best in a good while imo. Atalanta are a decent side who went quite far in the competition last year but we tore them to shreds.
The front 3 suddenly look like they did 18 months ago, we look like scoring every time we cross the halfway line. Bobby has been a fantastic player for us and for being part of the team that won our first League title in 30 years (not to mention our 6th CL) he will always be a legend here but he’s got a right fight on his hands for that shirt now.
You can never take anything for granted in this game but something pretty remarkable would have to happen for us not to qualify for the knock out stages from this position.

Bloody hell, the front 3 were deadly tonight...a perfect performance all round. Atlanta didn’t know what hit ‘em. They’ll have nightmares tonight no doubt.

I don’t get the negativity towards firminio, a player largely responsible for our recent success. We need to utilise our squad well this season so he still has a major part to play.

Two massive games in the league coming up now.

Rhys -- steady
Jones -- exquisite
Jota -- just doing the usual stuff

That's what I took away from the game, three great performances for the future.  :buttrock

Great win and finally a clean sheet. Tbh Atlanta were unlucky not to get a couple though. Jota is a breath of fresh air, reminds me of impact Mane made on his arrival.

A great win, all the players did extremely well, obviously Jota top the stars performance,  so was Jones, Williams, Robbo and the rest.

Tommy Smith STFU going on about Bobby will you, it's boring. Go back to your bedroom and read your comics.

Reg you have demonstrated on numerous occasions that you are an extremely intelligent individual. Why therefore do you actually waste your time responding to an absolute brain-dead feckin muppet. He is nothing short of a wind up merchant. Not even sure and he is a Liverpool supporter. He was banned not long ago under a different username. Can only assume that Woof is so desperate for members that he hasn’t banned him again :no
