Lucas was Brazilian footballer of the year and Mascherano is a nailed on starter for one of the strongest national teams in world football.  Get a grip. :no

hey dude i love liverpool FC so calm down.

all i want is for us to be financially secure,so we can go out and tempt any player to liverpool.

this is where the global part comes in.

the cheesy scouser part is aimed at the people who told the likes of me to shut up and get behind houlier. these people then claim you have to be scouse to be a true liverpool fan and that our opinions does not count.

so are you saying you like nothing thats in my wish list.

well with my kid like mind that knows nothing,to cure liverpool seem simple.

you have to be superior than your opponents at something.

1)liverpool are not the fastest team in the league
2)we are not the most skillful in the league
3)we are not the most powerful or strongest team in the league(chelsea)
4)we are not the most talented squad-director of football.
5)we are not the most clinical team

if you are not the best at anything how can you be the best in the league...its simple just like me.

to me its quite simple. we need to be more attack-minded. we dont need to defend corners with the whole team. why cant we leave the strikers on the half-way line? we dont attack with enough players. watch man u when they attack. they always end up with 4 or 5 players in the box. somethings got to be changed because with our squad now, we should be challenging for the title. :no

1) is football about who finishes first in 100m?

2) the most skillful team in recent history was the 'Galactico' Real Madrid... how many titles did they win then?

3) 'most powerful and strongest team'... what does that mean? surely if the team was the most powerful or strongest then that team would have won the league... that is Man United... not Chelsea...

4) 'squad-director of football' ? what does that mean again? it's either the director of football, technical director or manager... last I checked we didn't have any director of football or technical director... and we wouldn't want to...

5) Liverpool 8 - 0 Besiktas
    Newcastle 0 - 3 Liverpool
    Liverpool 4 - 1 FC Porto
    Liverpool 4 - 0 Bolton
    Marseille 0 - 4 Liverpool

now go back to your fantasy football lad...

To buy a player that turns out to be a class winger. Sell a couple of player and reinforce our defence.

And magically harness the ability to win away from home at stanford bridge, old trafford and emirites.

There is not alot wrong with this Liverpool side. We stopped Man U from playing yesterday and they still fluked the win as usual.

What we do really need is a creative spark just behind Torres. A real genius. Kaka like, but not quite discovered yet and a lot cheaper than him. I would like to see Benayouin slot into that position for a couple of games in the meantime. I think he could open up defences quite a bit.

Also a good up and coming centre half, maybe from the championship. A "Rob Jones" type snip.

I think Babell has great potential and can be used as a striker more so than a winger in the future.

Surplus to requirement imo at anfield are:

Sissoko (2 Left feet), Kuyt (Good but not Lpool Standard), Crouch (Maybe), Kewell (past it).
These would help finance new recruits.

Here is the way i see it
