Yes thats a good point , i would have assumed after Rafa played Carsson against Juve that next season he would be pushing for starting.

Jose Reina is a fantastic goalkeeper and with 20+ cleansheets to his name and a big part of Villareal's success we'd be bad mad not to sign him he is young and can only get better, I hope that we sign him and make him our #1 and keep Carson as our number #2, both fantastci keepers. (imo).

Not much a goalie can do to break through, needs the first teamer to screw up. A goalie doing a good job will not be dropped for a goalie doing fantastic in reserves.

Pity he made a fukk up on his big chance against Juve.

I don't care about that goal as we advanced, but don't forget his save against Del Piero, which enabled us to get our 2nd goal, while subduing their response.

I would also prefer young Scott Carson, who has been outstanding when given the opportunity.

Carson is inexperienced. I'm sure he will be given some games in the Carling or FA Cup but he's not ready to be our first choice.

Well here we go again. Yet another keeper. We have spent some on goalies thats for sure, I just hope this guy fits the bill. Its true we are wasteful when it comes to buying keepers. To think that soon we will have Kirkland, Carson, Dudek and Reina on the books is astonishing. If you intend to buy Reina then why buy Carson when you got Dudek and Kirkland with time on their contracts. We are just over run with them. 2 goalies is plenty. Enough with the keeps already!

Kirkland = loaned to West Brom

Dudek might be on his way out because he's definetly not going to be first choice if Reina comes in. He probably wants to play for Poland next year so he's going to have to play week in and week out, I doubt the will get that here.

Scott Carson knows he will get his chance. He said before he signed he chose LFC becasue he knew Rafa was building for the future. And hes still only 18/19? He wont mind at all waiting behind Reina. And in my opinion apart form that one fumble he played awesome against Juve.
