first and foremost i wanna make clear this is not a wind up thread whatsoever. Its just another view on the upcoming l'pool-spurs game ( from an optimistic spurs fan

).

I said on a previous thread that we'll get at least a point from that game but now i'm even more optimistic and will go as far as to predict that we'll win. Im really looking forward to the game and those of ya who think you will get an easy win are just deluded fools. We've always played at our best this season after such "setbacks" as the defeats to Leicester ,WBA or Grimbsy. we had a good winning streak after losing to grimsby, we punished Newcastle and Mancity and played some great stuff after losing to WBa .
we havent lost 2 in a row so far and this wont change on saturday.

By your concept, your current winning run of umm.... 2 wins is against the so called average teams too.

so how come when we beat newcastle you say they were an average team but then you crow about how you punished them, so what? you punished an average team and then got spanked by leicester

I am confident we will win, but this is no easy game by any means. Spurs have a good side and Davids is no mug (if fit).

Historically this is always a close fixture and i am looking forward to a good game between two sides who play decent football.
