i can understand taking Torres off, but Yossi was our best attacking player tonight and whist he was on the pitch Wigan did not look like scoring..  The Gerrard decision was just as mad..  I've had enough of him.. lets get a manager in who can motivate and not lose his head when the pressure is on..

By the way, I thought Lucas did ok apart from the penalty, a bit unfortunate
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

The game took a turn for the worse when Dirk came on imo, Yossi never should have came off.  It's not like the lad ever plays he didn't need the rest.

Lakes the amount of games we have drawn over the last 2 seasons would of made a draw not even worth backing.

Was Rafa in for Kidney stones the other week or has he actually had a lobotomy, as that is the only explanation that I can come up with for this almighty fuck up.

There's nothing else to add here other than, tonight has been the last straw for me, I've backed Rafa to the hilt through the shit with twit 'n tw@t but he can't hide behind that anymore. He's lost complete sight of what he's paid to do (THATS WIN FOOTBALL MATCHES, by the way Rafa if you're reading this).

I was struck on Monday as well by the fact that Rafa is actually a massive hypocrite. After the derby on Sunday he moaned about Everscum nicking a goal and then lacking ambition and playing defensively to hold on to it. ???  POT, KETTLE and BLACK spring to mind!!!

Nothing personal towards you mate, its just you have been an avid Rafa fan I dont want to rip your balls off atall its just you have to be realistic now.
And realise enough is enough.
We have a faboulas team they just are not aloud to express themselves in it.

My prediction is with the right manager Ryan babel could be the new Henry, I could be wrong but he has the potential.

I think its time we got a manager in to find his potential.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I'm afraid to say , that tonight it really feels like we've lost the league title,
i have'nt felt this low for a very long time.

I am totally stunned that the manager could take off our un-injured captain, with 10 minutes to save the 3 points.

I don't belive Lucas and Mascha stayed on the pitch when its obvious we would have to push the game if we wanted to win.

On the commentry i was watching, they said the manager was talking to Keane just before the penalty, i assume this means the gerrard>keane substitution was planned on the back of us being 1-0 up with 10 mins to go?
Is the manager so stubborn that he will take off one of the best players in the world, "because he planned it"  at 1-0.

I don't know what i'm saying really but something's just not right

the only thing that MIGHT cost us the title this year, is the fact we don't take our chances when created, time after time. we haven't looked like a team who really believe in killing a game off for a fwe weeks which is my conern, sorry if you have a different opinion but that is not raffa's fault it's the players!! ffs  how many players played tonight like it meant the be all & end all of keeping the pressure on the scum, not many was there. fickle feckers on here who was the biggest tw@t who ever played for us in years when we played the bitters - you guessed it yossi -now after tonight he was brilliant. it really p1sses me off that.  the only thing i would say is that babel - feck me he was given a golden opportunity tonight to shine, give his all & show he has what it takes to hold down a regular place - feck off you over rated tw@t.

babel was so poor tonight i have real issues with him, as i have said before , his attitude stinks! he is out of his depth, but even said that all i wanted to see from him was commitment, show he has ability take on players & create chances for the team - NO every time he was in a decent posistion to take on their defence he came inside & passed the ball square etc. he really is shyte & that's not raffa's fault that's the player not capable of showing deire etc end of.

as for lucas - NO i'm not using him as a scapgoat for the pen or his al round performance tonight, he did that all by himself!! he is another player given a chance & not taken it,it's all down to attitude, commitment & desire, he showed again tonight he has none -again it's not down to rafffa it's the player himself. - as much as i wanted to see 4-4-2 tonight from the start, i support LFC end of & who am i to question the formation the manager picks cause at the end of the day it's up to the players to give their all & show character etc.

some posts on here are saying torres had a poor game tonight, christ sake he had sh1t service most of the game what do you expect! that's why i will always favour 4-4-2 imho you need 2 strikers at home or away. as much as i'm dissappionted with the result tonight, their are players who need a kick up the backside before it's put raffa's if we are to maintain our title challange.

I don't post much ,but read the forum every day, had to post tonight.

I cannot believe that just one month ago we were all feeling quietly confident that at last it was our time. Then the sky fell in !!!!!

I have supported Rafa from day one and joined the march in his support but I am having serious doubts,  in all honesty I can't bring myself to call for his sacking 'cos who will we get and where will we be. Back to the drawing board again I suppose!

The problem is, we all know Rafa is stubborn so I can't see anything changing but we all know things have GOT to change.

I really don't know what to think, I'm angry, sad and depressed because I really do think that we've missed our chance to win the Premiership this year.

It was in our hands and unfortunately I have to say Rafa lost the plot, and in the process lost us our best chance in years.  [B]

What else is going on behind closed doors that' affected the team this badly? obviously Rafa and Parry, Rafa and H&G, H and G, Fergie swipe is part of it but for some reason I just feel there is something else going on.

And you know what, at the rate we're going, the bluenoses will be ahead of us at the end of the season.
