We deserve glory ! - We will beat ac milan

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I have noticed that the AC Milan players are too over-confident. Sheva said that his pace will pose problem to the Liverpool defence without even having faced Jamie Carragher and Sami Hyppia in the past. They will definitely lose tomorrow due to that over-confidence. It has been the case with Juventus and Chelsea.

We may not be a classy team with star players as mentionned by AC Milan owner, but we are a team proud to be where we are and full of heroes. In Rafa Benitez, i trust and i'm sure that the gaffer has prepared a surprise for AC Milan.

I will not be making the trip to Istanbul to watch the biggest match of my entire life as a Liverpool supporter since i'm quite away from Turkey, but my heart will be there with all the fans who will make or made the trip to lift up our heroes. Come on guys, show AC Milan supporters why we are the best in the world.

I'm sure the Liverpool lads won't disappoint us and will teach Ac Milan the same lesson taught to 2005 English and Italian League champions, Chelsea FC and Juventus.

I'm very much disappointed that Fernando Morientes Sanchez is ineligible for the Champions League as his experience would have helped us a lot but i'm sure the guys from Liverpool will win it for him and for us supporters as well so that we can at least have something to harass the Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and mostly Everton fans.

We will be 2005 European Champions. We just have to believe !

God bless Liverpool Football Club !

Nice post but deserving hardly means anything in football these days.

There's been plenty of games in where we didn't deserve to lose but did. For instance the one game that comes to mind is against Chelsea in the Premiership at home, we deserved to win but didn't.

PSV outplayed Milan in the second-leg and perhaps didn't deserve to be knocked out but they did.

It's not a matter of deserving these days, it's a matter of getting the job done at the end of full time. Whether it's a poor performance or a good one, it's all about who ends up the winner and not who "deserved" it more. Deserving doesn't win you games week in and week out.
