What is unbelievable is that we have gilt-edge chances which could see us win by at least 2~3 goals, but as luck would have it, we either hit straight to their keeper, seeing unbelievable goal line clearance or just plain wasted it. Whatmore, Birmingham are not a classy team (OK at least they tried to play football unlike B'burn) and should be dispatched easily. Some ingredient is still missing and I hoped Rafa will be given the funds to get it right come Jan.  Yeah...

Shocked as much as anyone. Birmingham and Blackburn games should had been won but we failed to get the points from easy fixtures. Not scoring when we get the chances has bitten us in the ******.

We have Palace at home next week and it sure as hell won't be a walk in the park. Palace has gotten themselves together and they are giving Arsenal a run for their money. I expected more from the players than this but as soon as things start to look good for us, we come crashing down.

total over reaction, we lost one nil at home to a side who came to frustrate us, succeded and nicked a one nil.

The point is that we lost at home after working so hard to keep a 100% record at home we give it away to the likes of Birmingham who barely had any chances of scoring.

I hope they get it together because Palace have just got their confidence boosted after 1-1 game with Arsenal and we play them next week.

Kewell and Josemi were too poor for my liking. Luis Garcia missed many great chances of scoring.

I hope that Gerrard returns by next week as he said that he was aiming to return a week earlier. Also Baros will be fit by next week.

Imagine after that 5 mill payoff in the paper yesterday that he has the nerve to turn up at the ground, the sooner the better he takes over and manages another club, and stop workin as a commentator for the french canal plus

But just not your day today...

I though Garcia was poor today, very poor finishing in front of goal and tend to complicate the simple things. That makes it few games in a row now (ditto Josemi). He missed so many great chances to score and for a talent like him, surely he must at least put one in the back of the net. Kewell's workrate is still poor. Pongolle seems lost in Premiership. Sorry to rant...I am pi55ed and frustrated

Alonso's range of passes perhaps the highlight of the day...

disappointing result, 1 point out of a possible 6 against Brum and Blackburn isn't good enough.

The way we defended the freekick that leads to the goal is appalling...we gave away a cheap goal!
