I'd start with Cudicini, Cole, Terry , Campbell, Carra, Pires, Gerrard, Viera ,Ljundberg, Henry , Reyes,

Cisse n Baros must miss out as they havent scored many goals in the prem.

Most people are judging Cudicini on his two exelent seasons not 4 games .

I think it would be interesting to find how posters  opinions  and selections have altered now the season is at its halfway stage .
Here are my modifications

Goalkeepers Cech , Schwarzer ,Carrol.

Defenders  Carragher, Finnan ,Terry ,Gallas , Heinze, Campbell, Cole .


Midfield   Robben ,Lampard, Alonso,Gerrard ,Makelele,Pires,Duff

Forwards Cisse , Johnson  , Henry ,Pongolle,Reyes, Baros, Smith

I am well aware Cisse is injured but I believe he was about to explode into form before he broke his leg ,Andy Johnson deserves his place for playing in a struggling side and still managing to score frequently.
Carrragher has been a rock as has Terry ,Heinze has forced his way in by sheer consistently solid displays ,and  how much emphasis can  you place on Campbell s absence when he’s missing from the Arsenal defence .

Midfield speaks for itself Alonso is class, Gerrrard is the ultimate player ,I have omitted Viera because frankly he’s been disappointing  and Makelele is Chelsea’s  mainstay  ,Pires has been Arsenals best player this season  ,Robben a revelation for Mourinho’s Chelsea ,so too Duff  .

The keepers pick themselves on form alone Carrol has been in great form for the Man Ure and Cech looks unbeatable .

I think more or less everyoen ahs the same players. we wil always disagree on a few (traore?!?!?!?!?!) but we all seem to see the core of players that are obviously doing somethng alittle bit special
