The greatest?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Alonso14 » Mon Jul 11, 2005 12:35 pm

On an otherwise slow newsday with not much speculation (unlike last week) i sit here bored in the office.

Day dreaming i began to wonder who was the greatest liverpool player?

Im quite young so i dont no too much about your Souness and Hansens (footballing wise anyway).

Iv heard about how great barnes daglish and rush was n seen some older clips too.

Of the modern era i would hav to say it is gerrard, iv seen owen fowler macca rednkapp and even phil bab! come and go.

So were the older boys much better then the younger generations i ask the older boys of the fourmn.

Im sure a guy called 'stu' will probably cum along n spoil the fun but before he does can anyone tell me good these players reely were. or even better mayb post sum videos.

p.s. Miltarusher WANKS.

Alonso_14 is not me his jus a wasted copy cat.

you ar$ewipe

I reckon, Kenny Dalglish was probably the greatest player we've had. Closely folowed by Kevin Keegan, Ian Callaghan, Ian Rush, John Barnes and maybe even Robbie Fowler.

I no i did but i also posted that sometimes the best are the best becuase there are arrogant.

I used a example earlier of Mohammed Ali, mayb the most arrogant sportsman of all time, arguably the greatest sportsman ever.

Cluff is also another example of this.

My point is that even the best hav their weak points. And sometimes these weak points can make them the best. Only my opinion.

You haven't seen much football then lad  :Oo:

Molby, Souness even perhaps Ray Kennedy would have passed the young Stevie G to death , tackled him into next week and demonstrated the strength of character it takes to become a true great.

My ID betrays my allegiance but when it comes to THE Greatest as they used to say in the old Highlander films there can be only ONE and that one is Kenny Dalglish ....

Now come on give us something difficult to debate !  :D
