LFC statement is correct and they are right to let us know what is going on, Fenway can not be blamed if he does go, and we need to know that, given all the speculation.

Ultimately there is only one Stevie G and Carra... true reds and committed t0 the cause, the rest - their hearts lie elsewhere - FACT !

Short memory.

Stevie has never wanted to go to chlsea has he?! :glare:

yes - he stayed in the end because he realised winning trophies elsewhere meant nothing unless he won with Liverpool (his statemnt not mine).

Gerrard could have moved and would you blame him ?.. he could won a bucket load of titles elsewhere, but he stayed and has led us in the most difficults times.

Having completed that u-turn he has never disappointed, whilst carrying our sh'te team at times.. short memories not, true committment - recognised and respected !

So if Torres does a u-turn all is forgiven then?

He won't do a u-turn

If he don't go this window - he'll be out the next.. can't say that bout Gerrard.

It's got f**k all to do with "winning trophies"..... the Chavs aren't even the ones most likely to win any! it's purely about money, I'd p**s myself if they didn't get in the CL (not impossible considering their form)
Do all humans have this "couldn't give a f**k" streak in them?

I think him having a falling out with Stevie probably affected his choice, too, he seems very bitter at times about things that have gone in the club.  I really do not blame him one bit for wanting to leave, but he deserves the sh!t he's going to get from the fans for wanting to go to Chelsea of all places, and at this crucial time as well.

Agree. Just get it over with.

I have no qualms if he wants to leave but the timing of this is absolutely abysmal and shows no respect for king kenny whatsoever.

Mind you I don't know why I'm surprised in the modern game. Even the people who I considered to be different and more loyal than most are now throwing it back in the fans faces. After saying for ages that Reina is a legend and committed it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's next.

Depressing.

Nothing, you can just see it on the pitch.  At least I can, they used to be in cahoots with one another but the past two seasons that has gone to sh!t.  They're completely out of sync with one another.. I'm just saying what I believe, don't read into it too much.  :D

Torres must have known that the Chavs would have  a field day , taunting us at Goodison.

Really can't believe we've been so wrong about him. It is truly heartbreaking !

He's made mugs of us all !!

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Agree with you here mate, I wouldn't be surprised if Pepe comes out and says he wants to leave now

A few of us had noticed it, they never celebrate goals together anymore, it was eerily similar to Alonso in his last season, he never seemed to celebrate with Stevie at that time either. Like I mentioned earlier all Torres best performances this season have been when Gerrard has either been injured or suspended.

If i had to choose Stevie or Nando, Stevie would win every day of the week!
Apparently he wants to leave because London has a better range of hair products.
