Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

So he doesn't want to even step foot in Liverpool again?  Showing his true colours now the gutless coward.

Sorry lad but if you want your move ask uncle Roman to bid at least 50.

You didnt seem to mind when he left Atletico to win trophies with Liverpool. Why are we not calling suarez a agotistical greedy knobhead that wants to join liverpool?

I dont think we should sell him to a rival club though.

its a decent point, john. he's definitely not the player he was a couple of years ago but i'm not totally convinced he won't get back close to that level. we've noticed 2 or 3 times this season when he's suddenly snapped out of his sulk for a few seconds that he can still be deadly, so its pretty much all still there. whether he can remain consistent and injury free is another matter though.

if we are going to sell him at any point then now is probably the time as he'll never be worth this much again. despite that though, summer would have been better than now. i can't help hoping now that he'll have trouble staying fit, and that chelsea will have 50 million pounds of practice for their doctor.

I really don't think he's worth the £40 million and if we can get a young promising striker in on the deal then I think its great business. I'm very curious to see how he gets on with Drogba, he's already a sulky git, how much will he like being sat on the bench because in all honesty I think Drogba is a far better striker than him, much more consistent, ok with the exception of the last few months maybe.

Drogba has been sh*t for the last few months because he has been suffering from a potentially fatal disease! Torres has been juck all year because hes a stroppy c*nt! I dispise Drogba, but that man on form is absolutely unplayable, Torres from 2-3 years ago was a superb athlete, who could do it all, pace, strength, finishing but he has cut an increasingly forlorn figure for us in the last 18 months - when all the sh*t was going on with the owners he would have been applauded for telling them to do one and wanting to leave, but now, when things are FINALLY looking up, on the same day we make our most striking transfer in years he goes and pulls this :censored: and lets be honest, has made Liverpool a laughing stock again. F*ck this entire season so far, the return of the King has been totally overshadowed by the kind of bad fortune that is usually reserved for Egyptians who p*ssed of Old Testament God. If a plague of locusts is spotted above the Radio City tower in the next hour all of you owe me a fiver

They can fu'ck off! £35 m and Sturridge!

£50m or nothing.....we need to stand our ground here and show that we cannot be pushed around....as for Torres if the club hold on to him and he does not give his all he can play in the reserves!

It's not all about money, what about loyalty??

What is the point in contracts anymore in football, they mean nothing! :(

Atletico Madrid and Ajax are not teams of the same calibre as Liverpool. For both players the move to us represented a big career jump (as it would for any player coming to us from any team other than Barca, Real, United). Moving from Liverpool to Chelsea cannot be justified in the same way.

I think the whole of Liverpool is supporting Everton today.  :(

I have just threw together a crack pot theory but I feel the need to find some srt of reasoning behind this whole thing. Every good game Nando has played this season Gerrard has missed. Coincidence?
