Hayes, whether he's signed for them or not is irrelevant, he wants out and that's bad enough considering the timing and the new bright future the club seems to have.  The sooner we move on the better.  I fully expect something to be ironed out before the window closes, with or without the ideal replacements I don't see him being here past Jan.

Putting a written transfer request in with two days left in the transfer window is a big fuck you LFC IMO.

The fans didn't lie to him, Kenny didn't lie to him, he said he would never ever join any other english club, so yes haysey he has made fools out of us he is idolised by millions of Liverpool fans, he has stuck two fingers up to that idolation for an extra few bob, and knows damn well what the feelings towards him will be like and he just doesnt care.

Liverpool FC have confirmed that Fernando Torres has on Friday evening submitted a transfer request. The request has been rejected.

The Club said in a statement: "Fernando Torres tonight submitted a written transfer request, which has been rejected by Liverpool.   

"Fernando is under a long-term contract and the Club expects him to honour the commitment he made to Liverpool FC and its supporters when he signed the agreement."

if this is true then its obvious he doesent want to play for us anymore and should be got rid when it suits the club and on their terms not his.
transfer list him and invite any club willing to pay ridiculous obscene money for him,get a bidding war going with chavski,city,real(he has no loyalty),barca,inter and ac or anyone else interested.except manure of course:D.

LFC site has him putting in a written transfer request which was turned down by the club.

I understand why a footballer would make a decision like this.

I think (unless there is a release clause that Chelsea agrees to match) that we will reject all offers, and any transfer requests from Torres.

I think Torres will not sulk, but will play his heart out this year. I don't doubt his commitment to the team or his professionalism, and I think he'll work hard, perhaps harder, given the fracture he has caused in his relationship with the fans. He'll have a blinder against Chelsea.

And we'll forgive him, sort of, until the summer at least. When we'll have to go through all this again. But then at least we'll have time to replace him, having finished in a Europa Cup spot and looking like a team worth joining again.

And then our hearts will break everytime we see him in blue. But at least he won't win much with them.

i still want confirmation of his so called written transfer request, i still want confirmation of his sticking two fingers up at the likes of me! untill that i for one can't think of fernando doing that to US the fans,the FC that has made strides in our future with KK back at the helm-why oh why would he want to even think about leaving!
