let me tell you that i am big torres fan, you can say i love him more than i love some members of my family, and i wouldn't like he playes in another different team in the premier league. but after this, i think if liverpool had accepted the bid, torres would be now a chelsea player. i think he had the idea of never play for any other english club but after seeing how things are going lately, i wouldn't bet about that. maybe things change with new owners, but he has heard already many promises that haven't been done so far.

that was a very good offer to be honest. if the club wasn't in the process to be sold, i think they would have accepted it.

ps if he had beed sold, i think as well more important players could have asked to do the same.

you know spanish football. which player do u think would be best replacement for torres if he wants to leave. i like fabiano or suarez

you mean luis suarez? he is not spanish, and he has never played in the spanish football. good player though.

fabiano is good, not doubt about that, with feet and with head, the problem about him is his character, sometimes he turns in a difficult guy. he nearly left sevilla this summer to go to marsella, but the french team didn't pay the 18 millon sevilla was asking for him. he is gonna be 30 in few days, i think that is much money for him.

a great sign would have been llorente, now it is too late. all big clubs want him.

and i have to say, maybe you can replace torres with a decent player, but it is gonna be pretty hard that you find someone that makes something similar what he did last 3 seasons while he was fit.

No way should we entertain the thought of selling Torres. If he can just avoid those minor niggling injuries he'll soon be back to his best. We should be thinking about buying a striker to take a bit of the goalscoring burden off his shoulders though (which I think we will in the january window provided the right player is available at the right price).
