Do what you want with the rest - the number of players I'm happy to lose comfortably outweighs the number I'd keep, which is pretty telling

Lallana and Mignolet top of my list to go. Shortly followed by Allen. Those 3 have had enough time to prove themselves and haven't. Lovren goes without saying.

To be honest I'd listen to offers for almost any of the current squad which says it all really. But wholesale changes in one go isn't good either so it has to be done in stages. A solid spine is critical. A new GK, a commanding CB and a proper controlling midfielder should be the priorities.

I like Sakho, Clyne, Henderson, Coutinho and obviously Sturridge when fit. They are the only 5 id definitely keep.  Some of the others can be worked with like Can, Moreno, Ibe, maybe Milner for another season. Skrtel isn't the worst but isn't quite good enough either to be starting every week.

I would keep the following players (List below) the rest can be sold, obviously we cant sell everyone but i mean anyone not on the list should be open to offers. We simply must buy a Goal keeper, Center back, Left back and Central midfield player by next summer at the very latest.

Any player 21+ who has appeared less than 5 times in the first team and been at the club 3+ years, out the door. Dont constantly renew young player contracts, no mercy policy, keep a hungry group.

Ignore calls for squad continuity as clubs are now proving it has no value.

Do not be seduced then rolled over by agents touting players, stay smart and do real home work not just based on stastical analysis and third party recommendations.

I'd be tempted to keep hold of Can and Firmino, but the rest give us nothing of note. Huge clear out needed and not a world class player among our squad, which is the most depressing...

If a decent bid came in for anyone else in that squad we should take it.
We do have a lot of potential that will still take time to develop but our immediate problem is the spine of the team. Goal keeper, Centre halves, Midfield and we need to pretty much replace that before the start of next season. Its only 5 or 6 players and if we can get quality then we stand a better chance of getting some of that potential to step up.

Another problem is the lack of a leader in that side. No one steps up on the pitch and leads by example  I thought a few were beginning to show improvement under klopp but they have slowly reverted to type. People like lallana sicken the titties off me because if you were to ask him to rate his liverpool career to date out of 10 he would give himself a 7.5.

When I say quality as well I mean it would at least be a start if we signed players who have actually won something.

I like Sakho, Clyne, Henderson, Coutinho and obviously Sturridge when fit. They are the only 5 id definitely keep.  Some of the others can be worked with like Can, Moreno, Ibe, maybe Milner for another season.

i'm pretty much with you there. but i also wouldn't be in a hurry to get rid of ings and gomez once they're playing again. if sturridge manages to play 10 more games this season he can be on the list of stayers. if he can't then we can ditch him as well.

Below are the players I think take no benefit from playing academy football so I would consider them “senior” players. I’ve put them in what would most likely be their favoured positions. We do have a whole bunch of players who would prefer to play in the number 10 role  but very few Robben/Ribery type players who like to start wide and then carry the ball towards goal.

I’d be happy enough if we could manage those outgoings and incomings over the next 2 windows. The high number of players we have been bringing in and the fact most of them have not been at a level where they can step into the first 11 has contributed to our underachievement. Buy 5 players in the areas where we need it most I can live with the likes of Moreno, Clyne, Benteke, etc.
