I'll sumarize in English my previous post.
Krompkamp is a 25 year-old defender. He is Dutch.
Villareal got him the last summer, and he has played 6 League matches (572 minutes) and 4 Champions League matches (378 minutes). He has not scored any goals.
Greetings

Well, out of the 8 Champions League matches that Villareal has played, Krompkamp has played only half (4), but in the League things are worse (out of the 17 he has only played 6). So we shouldn't expect we are getting a young Roberto Carlos or something like that.

Villareal has recently come to Anoeta. HE didn't play, he was in the Bench (Kronkamp) I cannot say therefore what I think of him, but he hasn't got many minutes. Ah, and I think he's blond. :)

I think that we have a secure man in Finnan; I agree Rafa when he says it's better to have two men in each place, so if the Dutch is OK, so far so good.

I just hope he realises that he might not play in the starting eleven. If he hasn't done so in Villareal, it's more than likely he won't win the place to Finnan neither.

From what I hear, he's better than Josemi and a good player. Why he's on the bench at Villareal, I don't know.

Josemi played better in Malaga than in Liverpool , i think he is not  enough skilled to play in the 11 team , but  i think he is ok to stay  sit waiting to play  few minute  to replace the   main stopper.

About that rumour  of trade Josemi - Kronkamp

seems  its  a fact, not a rumour

I think its a definite no

But I have to say that for his first 10 games he looked the best RB weve had for many years, since then his overall form has been very poor and irratic, I think he will be sold and I wish him all the best for the future

Is that from a reliable source AB or is it just a rumour at the moment?

I'd only get rid of Josemi like many say if we have decent cover for his position. It is playing Russian Roulette to let him go without bringing in a decent backup for finnan as an injury to finnan would be catastrophic IMO 'cos there is no way I'd want to see carra move out to the right and then traore come into the centre. However if Rafa does get a decent CB in then it maybe worth the gamble 'cos there'd be no need for traore then.

it's been confirmed on SSN

josemi was a 100%-er but was liable to be caught out of position and liked to dive into tackles rather than shepherd an attacker. i remember that sickening head clash against monaco and being fair to josemi he had no intention of pulling out. where ever he goes thanks for the effort and good l.u.c.k  for the future.

There have been rumours about Josemi for a few weeks now.  It's said that his family haven't settled into the UK too well and would like to go home.  Add this with the fact that he's not a 1st team regular and it's obvious that he's going to want out.  He gives his all, but sadly it's not enough.  He's simply not good enough and hopefully he'll be gone soon as.

Well, the deal is almost done according to BBC news.

Dutch international Jan Kromkamp is set to join Liverpool from Villareal in an exchange deal which will see right-back Josemi move in the opposite direction.
The 25-year-old Dutchman, who can play in midfield or defence, will tie up the deal if he agrees personal terms.

Villareal said in a statement: "We have reached an agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of Jan Kromkamp and the arrival of Josemi.

"The agreement is between the clubs and must be agreed by both players."

Kromkamp's arrival at Anfield would effectively be a straight swap for Josemi.

Rafael Benitez made Josemi, 26, his first signing as Liverpool boss in July 2004.

But the Spanish player has struggled to break into the first team after a series of injuries.

Kromkamp is also not a regular at Villareal and has only made six appearances for the senior side this season.

If the swap has been agreed and is only awaiting the respective players' to agree terms, we should go ahead. I heard the same news on radio this morning although I have also read about Sevilla'a interest.

Josemi works hard despite his shortcomings, unlike a cr@p hearted player on 65,000 a week, although this cr@p player is showing some willingness to do tracking back, it is not enough because he does not get involved. I hope he improves by the games because Rafa has been incredibly patient with him.

No...Josemi's not premier league level, nowhere near Champions league level and now we have Kromkamp (all but anyway) then there is no real need to hang onto him.

The dutch lad has made a couple of appearances in his national team and I believe he is a player that has some favour with Van Basten.
