Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

:D
Some reports suggest the big red nose is willing to let Van Nistleroy go for circa £10 million .

Is he still worth it ? and if we had money to spare would you
1, think he would be a good buy for us
.and
2, If not ,bid for him anyway ,just to f'uck the Mancs off ?

I hate him so i'll have to say no. Although if he was from a European club then i'd say snap up straight away and he would complete our team.

He's still a top player but has just become disillusioned and stale at United because they're in decline.  He's be a great buy for someone at 10 mil, but not us.

He's a very dishonest player imo, personally I wouldn't want him.  Bidding for him would be pointless because  firstly United wouldn't sell to us and secondly a lot of our fans wouldn't take to him and Benitez knows that.

although he'd be a brilliant signing for us there's no way it would ever happen.

infact there's probably only about 4-5 clubs in the world who could afford him right now. say he wants a 4 year contract you'll be looking at £16m in wages plus the £10m transfer fee, and for a 29 year old i just can't see it being a logical move.

Plus the £5 million stables we will need to put him in dont forget.

I think it's cruel that week in, week out, Alex Ferguson dresses up that poor horse in a top and shorts, and makes him go out onto the pitch to chase the ball.

We shouldn't encourage this sort of behaviour by bidding for him.

Still, I bet he's glad that Alan Smith got in the way of Riise's rocket the other week - I bet Fergie would have had the shotgun out if it'd been Ruud's leg that broke. :D

I'd rather LFC sold out to Abramovich and got relegated 5 years in succession than sign that equine b*stard.

Remember his f*cking dive at Old Sh*tford when he got Sami sent off after 2 minutes?

- That was his only ever red card for LFC, you donkey-faced tw*tbag.
