Scott parker - Chelsea are ready to release him

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

If think that we should keep Didi Hamann for another yet and get Scott Parker to Anfield by beating Everton with a better bid.

Parker is a great defensive midfielder and Didi Hamann would help in moulding him for the future.

What do you all think ?

Between Parker, who'd cost 6 million and Hargreaves, who'd cost 4 million, I'd pick Hargreaves.

Let the Bluesh!tes have him.

I doubt Liverpool will go in for Parker. The lad has had a disaster since moving to Chelsea where he cannot even hold down a place on the bench. Hardly kicked a ball since joining them. He still has a lot to prove at the highest level and quite frankly, Liverpool can do much better than him. No for me.

Parker looked a great prospect before he disappeared into the Chelski Gulag. I'd be happy to see him with us especially if it pis'sed off Neverton.  :D

I'd find somebody better than Parker.

FFS we are champions of Europe.

Parker?

What a joke.
Pick him up from Chelsea's trashcan we wont.

European champions don't sign sh!t poo muck. We sign Xabi's, Hleb's, Gattuso's, Duff's, Ronaldo's, Adriano's

Parker looked like quality when he played for Charlton.

He's been wrecked with injuries and lack of opportunity since he moved to Chelsea.

He would need a detailed medical assessment prior to signing. If it looked like he wasn't going to be chronically injured I think he'd be a great signing. However, he constitutes a risk like Kewell, Kirkland and Woodgate (for Real) were.

Maybe Scott Parker is typical of so many players who perform at smaller clubs (Charlton) but struggle when asked to step up a level. (Chelsea).

I would be very surprised if Rafa takes an interest and after his heroics this wek who is going to argue with Sir Benitez :D

I wouldn't bother with him. Rafa could get twice the player for half the price from Spain!!!!

Would be a good squad player, but with Gerrard, Alonso and Hamann (possibly) in the team he isn't going to be starting as many games as he would proably like.
However he would defo get more football here than he did this seaosn with Chelsea. A solid, classy, English midfielder. Himself or Hargreaves would be good additions to the sqaud IMO.

Scott Parker? Nah....
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Not for me, like others have said, he isn't the right quality of player for the European Champions. We don't want squad players, we need top class first team players of the highest calibre
