Woah i was on The Sun's website when i say a link labeled that.  I quickly paniked and assumed the worst, luckily it wasn't ol' rafa that screwed things up but rather ol' trafford.  30m !! thats insane and a waste of money.

That is an insane waste of money and the mancs are desperate to get back on terms with Arsenal and Chelski.

However, make no mistake that Rooney, for all of his personal turbulence, is a fantastic prospect and may just be the tonic they needed to kick start their season. They are still a tough team to beat, the mancs, but has become somewhat blunt in front of the goal of late. With Rooney, they may have more firepower.

I just hope that he flops long enough for them to come heavily on Ferguson and his head may roll. Nothing wrong with a bit of wishful thinking...

Alan Ball was being interviewed and suggested that Mooney is not the finished article yet and he had an issue with the fact that a young player with all that money what will now motivate him?

I guess a trip to Aigburth would but then I'm sure he can get good service in Manchester.

Apparently Kenwright left this deal till the last minute cos they were going to go into administration and they needed the Chang Beer money, problem is with no Rooney no one wanted to sponsor them, he also let it to the last minute so that Moyes couldn't spend the money until January and they could use it all to wipe off debt.
