Best game he's had for a long time!

He has the frustrating habit of disappearing in games. Yesterday wasn’t one of them. Interesting that the media reported this week (don’t know if it’s just a lot of bollux) that if Barca want to come back for Coutinho then LFC won’t listen to any offers under £145m. That is very different from saying he is not for sale. Just maybe Coutinho knows something we don’t and that produced an inspired performance !!

One of  the most gifted midfielders in Europe and Saturday confirmed why Barcelona covet the lad to such an extent that they're willing to part with enough money to by an Island to ensure his services.

Barca are top and haven't lost a game yet, so they ain't desperate to buy him... Yet. It will be next summer if he goes, as no way will our club let him go in January half way through a season, plus the disruption to the squad it will cause. It did at the start of the season ffs.  I'll bet on it

Given the lack of fuss he's made, I think it's inevitable that Phil has been told that he'll get his move, sooner or later.  If it's next summer, then so be it. I won't begrudge him because he'll have given us 12 months to sort his replacement. In today's game, that's as about as good as it gets.

It's not a massive loss, really it isn't. 120m is a gift.
Two/Three very good players we could buy with the cash. Lemar 70m and VVD 50m, for example. Plus keita who is already bound to Anfield
So long as we keep the remaining squad and just offload also :Sturridge, milner, hendo, can and Moreno- just the players who are not doing enough.
That's what I would do next summer if i was JK.(and also a lot of fans also)

He's off. Doesn't even celebrate scoring goals for us anymore, which says it all.

The lad is one of the best about at what he does and I am sick of seeing us let players like this go. Winning a league would be so much easier with players like him in the side. We don't need the money so should be doing everything we can to keep him.

I would love it for him to stay but ita obvious he will be gone. When his on form his is unplayable. If we want the title we really need to keep players like Mane, Salah and Coutinho.

He's a fantastic player but we've all known that for years, when he first rolled up here with his curly mop of hair as a 20/21 year old it didn't take us long to see that we had a potential superstar on our hands.

The way the front 4 are playing it wouldn't surprise me if a petro-dollar club tried to buy them all
