Spirit Of Shankly is aware of Liverpool FC's plan's to create it's own Fans Forum, allowing for supporters to raise the issues and concerns they face on a daily basis, on a range on issues from ticketing and travel through to the club's ownership.

We welcome the idea that supporters, the very people who make this football club so special, should have a voice and be involved in open dialogue with those who make decisions that impact upon us. We would hope and expect that any fans forum will be truly representative of the supporter base and will encompass the democratic and open nature that would be required, something we as a Union have always ensured was in place for our members.

We look forward to hearing more about LFC's plans for future supporter engagement.

Something the SoS didnt do. All they did was look after those from Liverpool.

What a crock. Whenever any Liverpool supporter raised a voice against SoS, the good ole "your not a scouser" argument raised its head. As an example, read any LFC forum.

Just like the SoS were? unless they were paid?

The best thing about this move by NESV is that they are including ALL Liverpool supporters, and not the select few that the SoS class as Liverpool Supporters.

I think its a great idea. Good way for the owners to keep communicated with the fans and vice versa. I really like FSG's approach so far. Just need a great summer to top it all off :)
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

  :D   Knew it , was waiting for that . So because he is chair of SOS he's not aloud an opinion , or only an opinion that conforms. Guess what lakes there's quiet a few on there that are members of SOS and atleast two of the committee . Oh no it's a conspiracy ,heaven forbid.

Well I like it Igor, ok, dunno why women get a say about football matters, they should be at home. But nice to see the gays have a voice now...

Seriously though, nice to cover all bases, so everyone has a voice, its good progression
