I like the benches instead of seats that they have in Europe. Up to safety standards as its still numbered seating although you can mill around and it lets mates sit together, I would only have this in the new Kop stand.

That would give Manhattan a chance to draw up his blueprints.

Because I am designing the new stadium!

a pinned thread would probably work if we where discussing a single topic but im sure over the time it takes for the stadium to be completed many issues will arise.

Lets not flog the subject to death for the next 2 years ffs.... if you like talking construction go get a job a Wimpey.

as where a liverpool forum perhaps you could direct me to the part of the site where i can find out what happening with the new stadium, where i can see the new designs, even where i might want to bring the subject up.

this is one the biggest decisions the club has ever taken with results that will effect us all, bit shabby dont you think that we dont even have a section that deals with it.

also its not conpulsory that you post there, but you will/ would  :D

Yes, in Spain they have a lot of benches with cushions underneath them.

Of course its a major moment for the club, it will have to see us throgh the next 50 years but I dont see why we have to encourage yet more uninspired banal comments from people who really dont know their tit from their elbows concerning construction, saftey regulations or club priorities.

If we just want to have endless threads of 'corrr', 'wow' and 'thats my seat' then fine lets have a new section.

Otherwise lets be honest and admit unless we do know what the club has specified in terms of requirements and priorities, we'll all just expressing uninformed tattle rather like Welsh Wizard's transfer inside info.

Brutal but honest!

As a poster, I've voted yes to have a new section.

Reasons:

1) The WC2006 section is not used any more, and the posts within this section could be merged into the international football, leaving space for this new section

2) A new stadium can give discussion for more than 2 threads. Threads about Pics of the construction, Pics of the project, concerns, doubts about how ticket season holders will be relocated, could be found easily in a new section, where as you'd have to browse a pretty long thread if we gathered all the posts about the matter in one pinned topic.

That's my 5 cents.

ive no doubt that will happen but thats not a reason not to have it, also it harms no one to have it, if anything it will enhance the forum

thank you anyway for putting your point across.

Right, :censored: to comfy seats and all that :censored:, we need a kop end holding 20,000 which is closer than the kop now to the pitch.

The Kop today looks about six feet away from the pitch. With disabled fans at the front and advertising boards, I don't think it's going to get any closer.

Actually speaking of advertising boards, the new stadium has GOT to have video boards.

The score may be easy to keep track of, but the game duration is easier to monitor with a huge display indicating the minutes ticking away.

Are you talking about those advertising boards the ring the ground? I think Arsenal have them.

although i have not been to emirates stadium. Maybe someone who's seen them live can tell me if they are annoying.

On the TV its really distracting, but from a revenue generating point of view, its like the golden goose.

BUT I FECKIN HATE THEM.
