Yes Leonmc, Ciggy spoke us about it very recently here, showing that video too.

I'll be honest Leonmc, I'm dissapointed with that song. I don't like it.

Why? because it's a classic in Europe, sung a lot in Madrid, Roma, Greece and Turkey, all the Mediterranean twáts. LFC always exported songs AFAICT more than imported. I preffer the classics, ring of fire, fields of Anfield Road, or even recovering lost songs of the past. We don't need that PAOK shíte, which by the way they copied to the Spaniards.

I fuckin heard it Leon mate!!!

Great song. It was getting louder and louder because people were asking for the words and that.

We'll have this booming out against Chelsea in the 2nd leg.

Glad the words got sorted out in the end. It sounds boss mate  :buttrock

Sabrejones (only kidding, but just Leon will do lad) I know what you mean, we are innovators, but the tunes we use are often used worldwide.

Nowt worng with that in my book, wait till you hear it, it sounds grrrreeeaaat lad.

The more songs we have the better - I don't mind singing European songs for European nights.

It's all part of the atmosphere.

I'm sure the PAOK fans and others will buzz off it.

the tune is great but got to say im not pleased with the final result, there where far better versions to choose from, from reading the thread on rawk it became pretty clear early on that certain people where going to make sure that there version would win the day.

I understand Leon.

I'm just a bit classic in all that comes to football. I don't like watching numbers like 32 in shirts, I like watching '9' for Strikers :) .

While I don't like the tune, I do like the lyrics

The say our days are numbered we're not famous anymore
But scousers rule the country like we've always done before

Nice to throw at the mancs face, I admit.

i preffered the other version, the one that mentions the name 'Spion Kop' in it - it sounded far less 'wet' than the line .... "They say our days are numbered we're not famous anymore"  - that just speaks of weakness and bitterness to me...and not of strength and bold tenacity. imo

you mean

'back upon our perch and you'll never knock us off
drawing all our strength from the mighty spion kop'

To be honest though, that didn't fit properly.

One time, I saw a man looking at me, yes, with his eyes. And then, he, he picked up a tube. And he looked, in the tube, and he made the moon big, inside the tube. The moon big inside a tube! Waahaha... Aaah. Telescope.
