I feel we need to show Reina just how much we appreciate him.  He's been fantastic ever since the balls up at Woodison Park.

At the games I dont think I have ever heard a song for him.  We neeed to find one for him quickly.  I have heard a few before but they havent really caught on in the ground.

Even if its something simple like "theres only one Pepe Reina". What ever it is we need one quickly for this great guy.  I was watching Liverpool Now on the new channel before and that Les fella from the supporters club hit the nail on the head.  He said " Pepe, could be the best keeper for Liverpool since Clemence"

So get ya thinkng caps on and try and come up with a song fro him if you can.

Well I agree he's a fantastic goalkeepr, and by all accoutns a really nice bloke as well. Wouldn't some kind of word play on the "Hey Maquerena!" song work? It was fecking annoying at the time but it would defo' work with Pepe's name.

Hmmm. Lyrically I like it. I think it has the right balance of tragedy and joy, interspersed with an almost dark, black humour. The phrasing seems to work, there is gradual build up from the almost steccato opening, to the crescendo of the gutteral cry from the streets, the almost quasi-religious AAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyy.

It speaks to me in a kind of human way, but with an undercurrent of subconscious dementia. The writer is clearly very much intouch with his feminine side. I like it very much......(is my cab here yet?)
