Rafael Benitez has named a very strong 18-man squad to face TNS in the return leg of their Champions League first round qualifier on Tuesday night. 
Although Liverpool already hold a 3-nil lead from the first leg at Anfield, Benitez is looking for a solid display and lots of goals from his side as fitness levels build for the start of the Premiership season next month.

1 hour flight doesnt make the difference though Dawson its still 3 days in all.
fly back today, play tomorrow fly away again on wednesday, when if the F.A. made the right desition and put us in group 3, we would have had our 2 weeks training get in Switzerland filling there lungs with all that high altitude air

SUBS: Carson, Morientes, Traore, Potter, Whitbread, Hamann, Josemi.

Firstly try to give runouts to Morientes and Hamann, then Traore or Josemi or Potter.

Kewell is injured, don't know what happened to Nunez and Mellor might be injured as well. Sissoko can't play in this first round of qualifiers because he wasn't registed on time

Christ ,Kewell injured again !     what a surprise , I think nunez is deffo on the way out but I think Mellor banged in a couple in a reserve game the other day . Forgot about the registration with Sissoko .
What is the deal with that ? You register players for the preliminary rounds and then register again prior to the group stages ?

Yes, looks like they will be gone before the end of the transfer window.

Picking carson over dudek, and Le tallec over baros, are very evident of Rafa's intentions. He's surely looking to sell sooner rather than later.

That means another striker mut be due in soon.
