LIVERPOOL VS AUXERRE

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Sabre you are right in te fact that the score in these games dosent really mater, they are to serve  on purpose only and that is to get players match fit for the coming season.

Its always nice to get a win but if we are ready to go away to Villa on the opening day then who cares what the results are in Pre season

pre season isnt about performances or results its about getting fit again

i dont judge anyones performance in pre season and either get deflated or excited

chelsea barely beat a team from USA with a real good team out, so does this mean chelsea will be shittt this season? no of course it dont

dont judge players in pre season, they are meaningless games, they are used for fitness reasons.

That's totally false.

Sissoko hit the ground running, and built up quite alot of hype early on. It was only until later did his shortcomings become more apparent.

Cheers Red, you got the package then? Can you break it down? eg. how many prem games they got? Is it just the shitty games? + what other channels?

just watched the highlights for this one and even they were boring! A real humdinger! I thought Bennayoun looked good and he was probably the only player that caught the eye for me. I think he will turn out to be an excellent signing, he's quite quick, is excellent technically, good team player and he can spot a pass. Doesn't offer the goal threat of Garcia but he will keep the ball better and he won't divide fans opinion the way little Luis used to.
