Realistically, if we finish above either Man U or Arsenal we should see it as a very positve step in the right direction. Unfortunately it is going to take a few injuries to Chelsea's key players (Lampard, Terry and Claud 'I'm a cheat' Makele) for us to be able to overhaul them this time round... However, stranger things have happened.

would love to win it mate and think we r just as good as chelski AT THE MOMENT. although it pains me to say this but they have strength in depth. when it comes to the business end of the season and fatigue and injuries come in then we might struggle. plus our run to the champs cup final will take its toll. i think chelski might be too strong for us but i hope i am wrong. i beleive 2nd or 3rd would be a good final position for us.

Yea, i no longer see Manure as a threat. But i think chelsea are still the team to beat but i honestly think we can do it, if Rafa makes some good signings, we need a new centre foward, right winger, and central defender. So i dno Di viao i heard somewhere, Simao and woodgate. Maybe, i know they are abit random but possibly good signings.

A fit Woodgate would be a great signing but we don't have the money to take that gamble. We have to remember, it's still not Rafa's squad, after another couple of tranfer windows I think we'll be in a far better position to challenge Chelsea. I agree with Dannyboy, 2nd or 3rd would be a good return this season.

2nd, Arsenal will slip, they're still on about Henry not re-signing. They are concerned with matters off the pitch. Wenger will check into a psychiatric ward because of his "vouyeristic obsession with Chelsea" which will allow us to get close to top and not have to qualify for the Champs League next season which will be nice for a change.

We will finish second because that´s what i predicted pre season and I´m going to stick with it. It definately feels like this is the season we finally overhaul arsenal and man U then next season we will win the thing.

I really think we can win it this year, Chavski arent the team everyone thinks they are. We are on a good run why cant we keep it going, its going to be very hard and we will have to drop very little points but if we are lucky with injuries the who knows.....have faith :;):

There's a difference between blind optimism and being realistic. Trust me, I understand being optimistic. I was optimistic when we were 12 points behind Neverton last season when others weren't but we will not win the league. I'm not saying that because I don't have hope or faith in the team but because I'm being honest and realistic.

Our squad is far from being complete and that's why we will not win the league. It's not like the Champions League because the league consists of 38 games. It's harder to stay consistant. We would have to win every single game from this point on until the end of the season to have chance, but not only that Chelsea would have to lose 3 more games in order for us to catch up. That is not going to happen.

Last season they only lost 1 game, and they have an even more in-depth squad this time around. Form is temporary but class is pernament. We are not shit but we do not possess a squad that is good enough to win the league just yet. We're still lacking natural wingers, and cover for our CB's.

Fair play A.B. you make a good point, Chavski are not going to drop many more points I know that.

I just think if we keep on there tails (which will be hard) then maybe if they are under a bit of pressure at the end of the season like they werent last season, then maybe, just maybe they might crumble, they have never been put under pressure in the last 2 years in the epl.

We can give tem a rin for there money (forgive the pun!)

Sure we can give it a try, but were you saying this when we lost to Fulham and Crystal Palace? I doubt it.

There's still work to be done before we can seriously challenge for the title.

Arsenal are out of the title race. Their away form is terrible and they aren't going to win the league with that kind of record on the road.

Man Utd have a slim chance, but another Boro or Blackburn result and they're done for.

Chelsea are going to win the league again, because unlike us,Man Utd and Arsenal they aren't going to lose to the likes of West Bromich,Middlesbrough,Blackburn or Bolton.
