Kolo Toure

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Give Kolo a 1 year extension, he's earned it. We'll have Lovren, Sakho, Matip next season and I'd rather see Skrtel, Llori leave first anyways. Some of our kids (Gomez, etc.) need REGULAR first team football to develop. Pains me to say it but Man Utd are usually a good example of how it should be done.

Kolo has been released, it's official http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36503044

Thanks for everything, pity you couldn't have signed off with a cup as your performance in the Euro final was class  :buttrock

With the money this club has wasted surely we could have found some pocket change to keep him on another year.

I suppose the thought is we are well covered and no European football so Lovren, Sahko, Matip, Gomez, Lucas if needed should do the job.

Adebayor is the same disaster as Bolotelli.

Very sorry to see Kolo go. Great attitude. Talented defender. Respected by his peers. Would have liked him to be given another year.

A good servant to the club, but it was time to move on.
36 on a reasonably high wage makes no sense. It's time someone younger got that playing time to get valuable PL experience.

Today he has officially signed for Celtic, good luck to him for the future, was a great role model for younger players and always gave his all
