Harry Kewell's agent says that the Australian star has no intention of leaving Liverpool.

Kewell has experienced a desperately disappointing season as he has continually struggled with injury over the course of the past nine months.

His season reached its nadir when he was jeered by Liverpool fans after withdrawing from the early stages of the UEFA Champions League final against Milan.

After also being accused of faking his injuries the former Leeds star has had a campaign to forget, although is apparently content to continue to prove himself at Anfield.

Since his transfer in 2003 the 26-year-old has failed to make an impression with The Reds, although his agent Bernie Mandic insists that his client is keen to continue under the stewardship of Rafa Benitez - who masterminded the European Cup victory.

"As you saw last week he is with the greatest manager in the world so of course he doesn't want to go," said Mandic.

"He spent his life getting to Liverpool so why would he want to leave?"

Meanwhile Djimi Traore, one of the unlikely heroes of the triumph, is reportedly set to extend his contract with Liverpool after a remarkable turnaround in his fortunes.

The defender could have moved to city rivals Everton last summer, although discarded his unconvincing early season displays to figure more prominently in Benitez's starting XI.

After establishing his place in the side the 25-year-old is now reputedly close to agreeing a new four-year deal at Anfield.
