going by what they are saying about Benitez i dont think he is going to have much time for Milan Baros.
" Milan Baros won the Golden Boot at Euro 2004, but his radar has been notoriously unreliable at club level"
"But Benitez is known for ruthlessness"

Baros needs to improve, and fast.

I agree Baros needs to imporve, hes got what it takes, the only thing is, its burried inside him. He can be helped along with the right coaching, but only he knows how to unleash it!

He needs to adopt or rather convert his International form into the domestic league. He feeds off the likes of Koller, Nedved and Rosicky for Czech though, we will just have to give him a little time...but we can't afford too much time.

I kind of havent got anything against him. But those articles make me feel hard done by, and i feel he give us all false dawns and hopes...come to think of it, he did sort of turn his back on us. I don't wish him any bad luck, but i hope he has experiences that make him realise he made a big, BIG mistake though.

Its a dream move and they truly are the pinnacle of club football. Thing is I doubt Owen will hardly feature there. Ronaldo and Raul are first choice. Morientes has been knocking them in from the bench,. He could end up playing less minutes than Macca. Maybe they will throw him on in last ten, but I will be surprised if he starts many games at all. Hes going to have to up his game for sure.

I think it is a combination of things - he feels that Liverpool have stagnated in the playing side and I don't balme him for feeling that way with the one-dimensional approach of Houllier. He may also be influenced by Beckham and of course, his agent. Real Madrid has a very good group of offensive players and for a striker like Owen, surely he relishes the challenge of trying to break into the first team and keeping his place there and also getting quality ball supply instead of having to chase long balls most of the time. The challenge one seeks is the challenge with a high probability of achieving the objectives. Arguably, Real Madrid may provide more of thet kind of a challenge in the short term.

There has been a change in the management of the footballing side at Liverpool with the arrival of Benithez. Should Owen stay and try to help benithez meet the objective of making Liverpool a powerhouse once more? What made him leave? For him the main question will be "will Liverpool get to win the top honours while I am still a player?" - perhaps he has had a different opinion and the events have led him to decide on going.

I wish him luck.

Have you seen the quotes per MO from the Sky Website, about how he has talked to Erricson about his move, and how delighted he is! How much influence has Sven got over players when they're with England party?

that question should read "how much influence does david beckham have over the england manager when away on international duty?"
