is it mission impossible were they can put a mask on and appear as someone else, that was gerrard last night with a biscan mask on, i know i slated him before the game but he proved me wrong(cue for johnnie321 to say everbody proves you wrong, dapioneer, your skating on thin ice)

it seems to me that biscan is intimidated somewhat when playing alongside gerrard. it's no coincidence that biscan seem to always perform better when gerrard isn't playing.

the two most apt points made here, i think, are that he loves that license to surge forward when he plays alongside hamman - and that it was gerrard with an igor mask on (love that :D ).

if that had been gerrard we'd have been saying the guy was coming back to his best. well done igor lad.

His assist to Garcia`s goal was pure class  :)  I couldn`t believe that the pass came from Biscan until I had seen the replay twice; I didn`t know he had it in him. This is one of the occations where it feels great to be proven wrong.

it wasn't just the pass, it was the drop of the shoulder that cracked me up. the defender nearly fell on his backside. it was almost as if he was taking the p#ss

he also played one superb raking through ball to kewell in the second half.

that one was the cream because of the turn and run preceeding it and the goal at the end of it. but he played a few lovely, searching, weighted passes throughout the game.

but to be fair, he played a few stinkers as well. he's on fire but he's still human.

Yeah, but that`s the Igor I usually see.. First winning the ball after a smashing tackle just to miss a 10 yard pass in the next move.

But the look on his face, weather he scores, has an assist like yesterday or misses with a 5 yard pass, is the same no matter what; Priceless :D

I bet it would be the same even if he was taped while jumping with a parachute :D

But remember, he did give away possession a few times.

For me, Riise was the one on fire tonite - no excuse now for not giving that performance against mid-table premiership sides.

They have to realise that it is performance like that, week in week out, that wins leagues.  The ability to raise your game against the Southamptons, Fulhams, etc.

We need this performance level more often, especially if we are to qualify for need season's CL.

Don't flatter yourself, dude.  johnnie321 (Dear God, THAT'S GOOD!!!! :D :D ) has got better things to do.  I'm too pleased about last nights game (and your apparent yellow card for being a ba$tard) to bother with your wind-ups today.

PS The Pioneer - it's killing me!!!!!!

Hypia , Hamman and Biscan played well . Super-class in the midfield and the defends. But maybe because there no game last weekend , that why they look fresh . But if they can perform like that in every game, it's will be good for Liverpool .

Told you dude, not telling you again.  It wasn't me.

If anyone wants to let me know who it was though, feel free to own up to get him off my case........
