Hang on I haven't said a thing about last night yet!! 

To be honest I'm dissapointed but I kind of had a bad feeling ever since that own goal. I am so fecking ashamed of Riise as a countryman he is a disgrace and I hope he is sent packing in the summer, has no one ever told him to keep playing until you hear a whistle instead he stands there with his back to the rest of the defence and shoots his hand into the air as if he suddenly knows the answer to something, that cost us goal number 3, actually the first one could have been better tacked by him as well.

All in all I think that in the same way as with AC Milan last year Chelsea were owed this one. The only problem now is who do I want to loose more in the final

so people aren't allowed to voice an opinion after a big game defeat? suppose not, suppose we've all got to sit on our fingers because if we criticise we're looked as people who only like to moan.

how do you know when we've won a big game? all the typical dopes come on and say how rafa is the right man and its always someone else fault when we lose. that's how.

I come on and praise when we win, because the lads deserve it. I don't care if it's 1-0 against Derby or 50-0 against United, either way it's still 3 points, so I'll praise a win, likewise I'll slaughter a defeat (sometimes even a draw) because it's points or games lost. It's a chance to prove that we aren't a one trick pony gone. But in answer to the simple question made by the simple starter...how do you know when we have a lost a big game? i know when the final whistle goes and we haven't scored more goals than the opponents, not by the response on here. But it's fan like those who say "big game" who annoy me more than most, I take Derby isn't a big game and it's alright if we lose that is it? Wigan, Birmingham, Bolton and so on, aren't big enough to be arsed about? Or are those fans like so many of our players and are so arrogant as to think we only have to turn up to win? You don't get anything in football without working hard, and the truth is you have to work hard in every game and therefore every game is a "big game" Also a club of our size, stature and history involved in any game is big.

It's a good thread and I'll take the jibe from the topic opener on my considerable chin as its largely true. The 'rotation" question this time was only pertinant as it would have been an absolute certainty that the forum would have been full of people banging on about the benefits of the policy had we won in extra time. Just like the disproportionate amount of importance which has been placed at the door of Wenger's non-rotation and Arsenals subsequent "collapse" into third place in the league, as well as us getting up on the line to pip them in the Champions League. I brought it up mainly to see if people had any views on it after a defeat, and true to form Sabre fronted up and was happy to chew the fat. He continues to hold my utmost respect and I like talking football with him very much.
