I typed in PPlive on google.

This is more important than you might think, you know google.

:censored:! I have to have dinner now, but I'll be back later.

What will you need?

* A moderately fast internet connection (DSL or Cable, no modems)
* The Windows XP CD, or Windows 9x CD. That's the disk you were asked for, and I didn't quite remember it was necessary to do the firs intallation.
* Some patience.

I'll follow later!

Hmm I'm starting to get a bit worried here.

* I've got broadband with Uk online, god knows how many mega biscuits or giggle points it's got. I can watch video news clips though occasionally if this helps, but OH MY GOD, I have got a modem. Does that mean I've gone down at the first?

* A CD? To the best of my knowledge I haven't got one. Can I steal one, buy one, borrow one or anything?

* Patience? Oh that's me well and truly fecked.  :D

No mate -as long as ya have a fast connection. But i bought this :censored:.e off ebay and out of about 40 channels -2 would work and it was jumpy ,kinda pausing every 10 seconds lol maybe my 2mb connection wasnt fast enough. When you delete pplive -run reg cleaner too-it can attach things to your media players.

2Mb is more than 4 times you really need. But it depends how much people is actually sharing the match, if it's only a handful of people sharing, it doesn't really matter how fast is your connection. As it popularity is growing, there are no jumps, I saw last games with no jums, not big quality neither, but more than enough to watch. Some users have reported that it's necessary to change the size of the buffer in windows media (options menu) but I didn't have to.

Every technology is shaky at the beginning but this one is going to last. As new versions, and most importantly, occidental versions are developed, the whole thing will get much better. I don't know how you bought it in ebay, though, unless you bought TV ants, which is cr*p.

Barrybelfast: Cable, and adsl devices are also called modems. If you download faster than 6Kb per second, then you have a better connection than the traditional modem, which is the one that won't do the trick. Another way to know if you are fecked, is to check if your modem is noisy. If it is, then you are fecked, if it's silent, then all is not lost.

BigMick, mind you, I won't surrender without fighting, so at the very least, I'm going to try to help. Windows XP is the thingy that translates what you want to do to what computer understands. You should have always a Windows XP CD. If you don't have one (which is not rare) I cannot point out a link to download it without breaking many laws, but anyway, I'm trying to workaround that. Perhaps the other programs do not require Windows CDs at all. I'll check and I'll tell you. It's worth the try, you can get many games, NBA, golf, everything. Yes the comments are in Chinese, but who cares, you watch the game.

Back later :P

Ok, you may need to register before using the site but it's quite good.

Info on streaming is on this thread
ht tp://www.fbtz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37473

copy and paste the link into your browser and remove the space in the http, (I did it because this forum might not want any direct links).

The programs post.

http://www.tvmix.net/downloads.html

Here you'll find the latest versions of all streaming programs. It's easy. Click in the program you want to download. A window will appear, in which can you can read "Por favor espere X segundos" where X is a countdown of 45 seconds. Once waited those 45 seconds, click the same button in which you can read "Haga click aqui para iniciar la descarga". Once clicked, the download will start.

So step by step instructions

1) CLick TVKOO, PPLIVE, and PPSTREAm, wait 45 seconds each, and download.

2) Once downloaded, execute the files, and report me, big mick, if strange messages asking for strange disks appear. That should be simple enough. And don't worry mate, no body comes to life knowing this things.

The programs theirselves should not be a problem, but if they are, I have no problem to apologize and agree all this post to be removed.

BTW, I'm considering to buy the eseason ticket of the official site, is anybody using that service and actually happy with it?

H K L F C: Those are programs to watch football, and for that matter many sports TV channel, most of them chinese. They broadcast a game, then the users share that broadcasting. The effect of that is watching the games with a delay of 5 minutes or so, which is much better than not watching at all.
