No lad, what it points to is they are patient enough to feel that this squad will come good. Thats why we only need 1 or 2 aquisitions in the summer. Kenny willl be here next season mark my words. You think winninmg a trophy (hopefully two) in his first full season accounts for nothing? Think again

I think we'll need more than 1 or 2 acquisitions. I fully suspect we'll have to replace Reina, we'll need to bring in a center midfielder who can make things happen, we'll need to bring in a right winger and another striker. That's 4 signings we'll probably need to make. I suspect players like Maxi and Kuyt will leave as well.

:nod  yeah, maybe a bit before your time but I remember when the city with it's humour, music and football had the press in raptures. For a time there we were the Capital of the World, but let me not spoil your day or position, you obviously missed all the good stuff .

Sick and f'ucking tired of this "the whole worlds against us" routine. We've been sh'it and Kenny's "interviews" have alienated media, WTF did you expect their reaction to be ?

I think the point your missing is I couldnt give a flying fuck about the media's reaction, its the fucking blurts who spout the same tired
shite instead of backing the club thats gave them possibly the greatest nights in their sad little fucking lives  that gall me .[/quote]

If you don't "give a flying fuck about the media's reaction", why introduce them into your post ? .

Probably because half the bleedin' "blurts" on here hang on to every word they say and happily toe-the-party-line, i.e, 'Kenny should be sacked' blurts repeat the headlines or utterances of the press KENNY SHOULD BE SACKED!

To be honest, i am f**king frustrated and disappointed after the past few loss. Especially after Newcastle game, i question Kenny's management qualities. However, taking a step back and relook at the situation it does not seems all so bad. But 1 thing that stand out in those loss for me is the players response. They seems nonchalant. No passion, no urgency. I wonder what causes those reactions, is it they feel they done enuf this season by winning the Carling Cup or they feel 4th place is no longer possible therefore saving their energy for FA Cup? I think Kenny need to look at the players reaction and do something. Unless its Kenny idea to relax the pace.. I have no idea.

Hope Kenny stays on and improve the side performance starting this week. He can ill afford to lose 1 more game.

are you suggesting that being a fan means being oblivious to the incapability of the manager no matter how poor he is doing?
if so, why didn't Hodgson get the same treatment?
clearly it's double standards, because i don't see any improvement as far as the league table is going.

i think you shouldn't be ignorant of the fact that those supporters who have been saying the "same old negative stuff" are equally, if not more hurt by the club's inability to rise from the demise. the fact that they feel so strongly about wanting to see the club rise, so strongly and desperate can only mean they mean it.

Of course we shouldn't be a oblivious ,its clearly not good enough ,but we can see this ourselves without the media printing regular and disdainful post
mortems with irritating gleeful consistency .

Hodgson was an abhorrent little  man ,and if  what he done the other week  when he thrown the remembrance armband down in disgust in front of aghast WBA
fans doesn't alert you to this then I fail to see what does mate .

Dalglish is still here because we believe in him ,and his affinity with the club was always going to be infinitely stronger than the fucking clown
that was Hodgson .

yeah but like it or not, the media is just doing their job. and when a club of a stature like Liverpool is going through such tough times, it's natural that they will sharpen their knives. it's just their job scope.

i never knew about the Hodgson throwing incident but yeah that's pretty Sh*t of him to do so.

i reckon the problem IS Kenny's affinity with the club, hence the reluctance from some fans to see him leave. i honestly feel his out of his league here. i just don't see a way back to the top especially with the transfer policy.
