Let's hope we wi the FA cup
If Dalglish wins the FA Cup, that's a cup double right there, FSG will no doubt find it hard to justify sacking a manager who has won two trophies in one season, but I suppose it will come down to whether or not they'll give him more money to spend in the summer transfer window. Given Kenny's track record so far, you couldn't blame FSG for having apprehensions about giving Dalglish anymore money to spend on players.

We'll find out one way or another in the summer. It wouldn't surprise me if he stays and it would surprise me if he's sacked.

So if Comolli sees the door then that particular enigma will finally be solved ?

Sick and f'ucking tired of this "the whole worlds against us" routine. We've been sh'it and Kenny's "interviews" have alienated media, WTF did you expect their reaction to be ?
I think the point your missing is I couldnt give a flying fuck about the media's reaction, its the fucking blurts who spout the same tired
shite instead of backing the club thats gave them possibly the greatest nights in their sad little fucking lives that gall me .

I think he will step down as the manager and continue at the club in some other job. That way they wont alienate anyone.

It's a bit unfair to be laying all of the blame of the transfers in and out at Comolli's door. I'm pretty sure Dalglish and Comolli worked together to bring in the players that have been brought in, so if Comolli is held accountable, then Dalglish needs to be held accountable too.

how long have you been watching us mate? since when has kenny ever been media friendly? in the 80`s the press used to laugh at him because of his one word answers. then again maybe being in his mid 30`s and taking on his first manager`s job in the aftermath of heysel put him off dealing with the press for life, it couldnt have been much fun sitting in press conference`s and being the spokesman for the biggest pariahs in international sport, the press reporting during the hillsborough disaster probably didnt do much for his view of the press either, dont forget it wasnt just the s*n that printed the lies, loads of papers did, it was that the s*n refused to apologise straight away like the other papers did.
dalglish has always been wary of the press and i doubt that will ever change.

The clamour from fans got him the job as caretaker... we had a good spell (as often happens when a new person comes in).. we played good stuff with Suarez, Maxi, Mereiles, Maxi in attack.. and then the media bigged Kenny up and he was given the job full time... albeit in a shorter than normal contract.
If this was Fenway's choice then they would be more willing to back him... but they didnt allow Kenny to spend a penny in January when we are in desperate need of a holding midfielder. They have seen the signings hes made and have closed the transfer kitty. We have heard Commoli state "only 1 or 2 additions" this summer.. and Kenny come out with guff "anyone new would have to be exceptional". Kenny knows he wont have much to spend. It all points to Fenway biding their time to appoint their own man.
