Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

So what now lads? will we win the prem? i think a top 4 is a must anything higher will be bonus, i believe Arsenal are slightly wavering a little, ManU are in dissary and chelski, well i hate to say it but there still my favourites to retain the prem. I really believe, injury free, we can have a good go!!!!!!

Can't really comment until we see what sort of signings Rafa is able to make in the summer.  It's clear he is still a long way from having the squad that he wants.  If we get in a similar group of players to last year (Alonso, Garcia, Cisse, Morientes), then we should be looking at breaking into the top 3 and staying in the title race for most of the season.  If we do get back into the CL, hopefully we can again do ourselves proud and reach at least the quarter finals.  If we can seriously challenge in both the league and CL, I personally don't give a toss how we do in the FA Cup and the League Cup.

I think we'll get a lot more points than this season and hopefully not too far off challenging for most of the season and think we have a phycological advantage over chelski (6 points :D )
Think Manure and Arsenal will be a lot stronger, hopefully will be a 4 way battle til the bitter end!

i luv the fact that u all take the :censored: out of the opposing teams so suttley.chelsky, manure etc. yea, some more good signings, a few less injuries, and next season will be rafa's second in prem, so he will kno wot to expect, and be used to the style of play etc., which he hadnt got the handle of completely this season.top3 finish! above man u pleeease!

Drastically impoved league form but unfortunately still a bit off the pace.

.. How we fare next season will depend a lot on who comes in.. already the Boss has manged to squeeze out some good and much improved performances from some of the players who clearly were underperfroming under the old regime.

.. for me some more quality players, a strong indepth squad of players and top three is realistic.. with us challenging for positions till end of May.. would be grt.. and as for other things.. Liverpool European Champions again ..

. :)

Challenging strongly for a top 3 finish rather then struggling for the fourth  spot plus some good cup runs

i would love us to win the prem obviously but i reckon we will fall short, we will be up there in and around 2nd and 3rd but we wont have the power to keep oursleves top and i think chelski will retain the premiership, liverpool to finish 3rd, 2nd if we are lucky

have full belief that benitez can get us up there and who knows he might surprise us yet again like he did with the champions league and win us the premiership  :eyebrow heres me hoping.. and dreaming

RB have already have a "formula" in the CL games and hopefully RB have a "fomula" for PL games... Once he have both "formula", I think Liverpool will be better than any team in the world.

FA Premiership = 4th Place and CL qualification.

UEFA Champions League = At least the QF (if we are in it).

UEFA Cup = Win it. (if we go into this instead of the CL).

FA Cup and Carling Cup = Don't care, but if we won them, I'd certainly be happy.

World Club: Win it.

Super Cup: Win it.

I EXPECT us to qualify for Europe but i would hope that we challenge the top 3 and make strong runs in all cups
