what p#sses me off is when grip is sent to watch players such as beattie, thompson, wright-phillips, barry, even though you know that they've got no chance of being involved in a competitive england game. they have to sit back while wasters who have done f#ck all get picked such as butt, phil neville, dyer, vassell.

IMO parker and beattie should have gone.
We NEED 3 goalies, its just what u do, what happens if one gets injured?
Like its been said we have enough players who can play in midfield so chuck out phil neville and put in parker.

i keep having this debate with a mate of mine. scholes is CLASS and must play. you don't just lose your ability overnight. lampard has had a great season but scholes has the edge when it comes to thinking about the game. he also has better vision.

it's the system which eriksson plays which restricts scholes' goalscorin ability. rooney drops off most of the time and plays in scholes position, that is the problem.

the season that lampard ahs had merits his first team place alongside stevie
with rooney staying back a bit and becks playing wide right all we gotta worry about is the left flank which should have had bridge and cole overlapping but thats too late
