E-season ticket - Shoddy service

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Scottbot » Tue Mar 29, 2005 12:44 pm

Anyone else on the forum got themselves an e-season ticket? I bought one at the start of last season for a better chance at getting tickets for games at Anfield. Although it is tricky getting tickets for the higfh profile games i still managed to get hold of tickets for Portsmouth, Leicester, Charlton & Fulham last season.

This season the service has been a joke. I generally log in before the 8.15 start time, then spend the morning trying to reach the match tickets page only for the server to drop (or pretend its responding) every single time. Thgis normally goes on for 2 or more hours untill I finally get through (normally very excited by this time) only to be informed that all the bl.oody tickets have sold out! Happened again today for the Spurs match an now i'm just about ready to throw my computer through the window - Its bolllox

Anyone else have any luck getting tickets using this service?

I've got the e-season ticket which I'm more than happy with, but I've never tried getting tickets through it.  I've spent ages on the phone trying to get through, but (no sh!t) if you are from Liverpool with the 0151 prefix, you are a lesser priority, so do that 141 thing before you dial and you will fool the exchange that you are indeed from out of town.  Your call has a better chance of being answered then. :)

I agree with Scott about the server thing :(

Overall though I'm happy enough with my e-season ticket :)

Leon you pedantic ******.  :D

I think she was referring to the fact that Jonnymac said if you live in Liverpool, use the OOT dialing code, but if you had a scouse accent then they might notice you aren't an ooter after all.
