I had one last year mate, its laffn for getting tickets online before anyone else.  You get to watch the reserves and highlights off all the liverpool games. Match commentary for every game thats pre season and through out the campaign.

Its ok for the money, I think 34-99 per annum.

You get struff like live matches on-line, not screened on TV, Pre & post match press conferences, special fetaures like reserve games, features on the academy, interviews with players.

Special features like MO first 100 goals, '100 days that shook the KOP' interviews with players from the past.

If You are a reds fan, £34, not bad for what it is.

I had one, and it was brilliant.  My girlfriend got me a six month ticket last December.

About April 2004, they changed all their settings on it.

You used to be able to watch the clips streamed through Real Player.  There was absolutely no problems.  They had a customer for life in me, I was that impressed with the service.  Then they changed the way you view all of the clips to Windows Media Player, and that was it then, my PC wouldn't play them.  I was getting an error message saying WMA was not compatible with the file types on LFC.tv.

I only bought my PC in October 2003, so it was pretty much cutting edge, and I maintain my PC alot, there is no crapware on it, I won't tolerate it.  I have protection until it's coming out of my PC's hypothetical @rse, so I know it's not a bug on my PC.  I changed my settings on WMA to recive the file types LFC.tv specified and I still had no joy.

I e-mailed them and complained that they had ruined a perfectly good service for me.  This is the best bit though.  The guy who e-mailed me back told me they were having a bit of trouble with the transfer of media player settings that about 100 of their customers had complained about it, me being one of them.

Now that means, I am one of the unlucky 100 people in their customer database of fooking hundreds of thousands of people, who cannot watch the clips anymore because LFC.tv decided for no reason to change the way their customers view the clips on their medi players.

I complained that much through e-mails and sending letters to the relevant department at Anfield that I received a refund from them.

So no, don't fooking buy one.

i am sure you can choose what type of media format you want to view in?

I am viewing in real player format.

They might have got it sorted now Maximus, but back in April - May, I was going off my head at them.

I haven't got the time or money to buy something which might not work.  I might buy one again come August to see if I can bring myself to forgive them for wasting my time so much.  I suppose I could just get another refund but it's too much messing around for something which worked in the first place until they messed it up for me and I lost complete confidence and trust in.

I'm very neurotic when it comes to stuff like this in my life, I tend not to give second chances to things.  That's why I have no mobile phone.  Anyway.....that's another story for another day.

I think they went with Windows media player as it comes free with all PCs - i think.

The service is great if, like me, you live miles from Liverpool and want to get tickets for Anfield through the priority scheme which gives you a day's jump on everyone else looking to buy on general sale.

Last season when we played Portsmouth and we beat them 3 - 0 at Anfield (you remember the game.....Hamann's screamer, top corner), well that game was not on live on TV that night, but I watched it with my feet up on my PC.  It's well worth it if it works.  But i'm not having another rant right now.........  It's sound, there is a webcam pointing at the This Is Anfield sign permanently and you can see what's going on in the tunnel behind the scenes before thematch and at half time and all that.

Could have done with one of those when Turkey played England last year :D  :D  :D
