Doni appeal rejected .....Like the outcome was ever in any fucking doubt ?

Incidentally ,do posters believe that the FA next season  will soften their subsequent hard ball stance on everything pertaining to LFC ?

I think next season, like most seasons recently, if you are a big club and 1-0 down you will get an abortionate amount of injury time
I believe that when a big teams players dive, they will win penalties, and the smaller teams will suffer
I believe that no matter what we do, we will get a lot less credit than other teams

I was surprised that they made an appeal. I wouldn't bother. I'm certain they won't be giving a ban to Ashley Young (i think) for diving to win a penalty.

98% of appeals are unsuccessful so there's usually no point.

It was a shocking piece of goalkeeping and a stonewall penalty/red card. Sh!t goalkeeper.

Some of the officials decisions after the Suarez judgement have been bordering on ridiculous though mate ,its clear they are loathe to award
any decisions whatsoever ,albeit to the detriment of us collecting three points .

I agree completely ,it was a half arsed and hapless attempt at collecting the ball from the feet of an oncoming player .
As for Liverpool's stance on Doni , there seemed very little scope for an appeal , surely Liverpool knew such a plea would prove fruitless ?

I think they we're maybe trying to appeal so he could play saturday, he could of kept playing until the appeal was heard and decided on, however had this been man utd the hearing would of been next week hence he could play saturday but because it's us well they rushed it through.  cu.nts. the fa are cu.nts

Rules have changed to ensure the appeal is heard before the next match - to ensure what used to happens doesnt anymore.

Nothing wrong with the PK or the red card. Finally a good decision by them.

Wouldn't hurt if we try. Though it was a stupid tackle by Doni and a clear penalty and red card.

bit harsh on the keeper that mate, he was dropped right in it by flanagan and if he would have went for the ball half hearted no doubt everyone would have been saying he was trying to protect his wembley place.
granted his attempt at getting the ball was a bit clumsy but these days the way players look for contact those 1 on 1`s are always tricky situations for keepers, as i said he was dropped right in it.

Their player knew what he was doing and virtually made Doni trip him

on a sidenote, chelsea actually had the audacity to appeal ivanovic's ban, despite the fact he was caught on camera punching another player off the ball. he should have got an extra game ban for a frivolous appeal as it was violent conduct.
