And what curse is that then ?  ???

5 Cups in One season curse ?

Shedding the Spice Boy image and making LFC a better run club ?

Buying Macallister, Hyppia, Baros, Finnon, Henchoz, Riise,  curse ?

Beating the Mancs 3 times on their own soil curse ?

Having the best record of ANY LFC manger playing Everton curse ?

I think "respect" is the word your looking for

Terrible injury for the lad.I know a fella called Jim Beglin who had a similar injury. His shin bone went through his skin in a tackle with Everton`s Gary Stevens. He was never the same player again unfortunately.I really fear for Cisse :(

Its all too easy to blame predecessars in management ???

It was an ACCIDENT ......................"Where there is balme there's a claim" should be repalced by "where theres blame , let all have a cheap shot at Houllier"  ???

Your not still sticking up for the Frenchman Dalglish? He sent us backward and Benitez is proving the point.

In my days as an active player two of my teammates broke their leg and none of them returned. But our club did not have the medical expertise and the financial sthrenght of LFC. It is never good when you break your leg like that. It just broke really badly, and I must say that his chances of getting back to 100% is not the best. Maybe he will return one day, but will he ever be as good? Let's hope so. It reminds me a bit of the loss of Babbel. A magnificent player, but a nasty virus infection or something did away with him. I sincerely believe he was our best player in the treble season, and it is a pity his Liverpool days ended like that.

I am looking for answer here...How many player suffered an injury like Cisse and came back the same or a better player?

Cisse's game is about power and raw speed...I only pray that his injury is not career ending one when I saw the snap.

I most certainly AM sticking up for the Frenchman cos i am a Liverpool Supporter and we respect our former servants not castigate them and take cheap shots at them   ???

The clocks have just gone back a hour and no-one told me , I suppose thats Houllier;'s fault as well is it ?  :D

And i don't disagree with your comments about Benitez taking us forward either cos he is ......In the same way Houllier took his forward after Souness and Evans  :Oo:

Dalglish I think you are mistaken. A monkey throwing darts would have fared better in the transfer market than Houllier. He also instilled a negative defensive football. He will be remembered for many things. Ok he won two big throphies, but failed to take us far in the champions league and failed miserably in the premiership. When I say miserably, I take into account the fact that he probably spent more money than any other manager in england did during his time here. That money was not put to its best use. Make no mistake it was the boring football, the defensive style and his astonishing transfer failures that cost him his job.

Its NOt about what we CAN achieve now Greenred, thats not really the issue .......... It's the shallow way that people often take a pop at Houllier over things that have very little to do with him ???

Like I said I AGREE that we are certainly playing more entertaining football and there is an added belief at the club but and when Benitez has finished SECOND in the league and won a few trophies, perhaps we can safely say he has indeed brought the club forward.

The reality is that we are at the beginning of something which all of us will prove to be special and bring the elusive title but lets not forget some of the people who have got us to this point , thats all I'm saying ....

Using the principle of "we are actually playing football" as the criteria for success puts us in the same bracket as Newcastle , Charlton , Aston Villa, Boro , Man U and Portsmouth then ? ???

Well your entitled to your opinion. I just happen to believe your wrong  :D

And my defense of Houlier is not based on transfer dealings or position in the league.

It is about RESPECT for a servant of Liverpool football Club who tried his damned hardest to bring success to Liverpool and nearly paid with his life......

I suppose everyone is measured by their achievements .... is that what you are saying ? OK then well come back then when Benitez has finished higher than 2nd in the prem , won the FA Cup and 2 League Cups, 1 UEFA and qualified for Europe every year  ???

I dont agree Dalglish.Benitez has instilled a work ethic in the team.Players like Baros,Risse,Finnan,Traore look reborn under him.Houllier was a disaster for Liverpool fc and he had an inability to get the best out of players.
