Baros vents frustration - From sky sports

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Surprised any player would be dumb enough to say something like this just 2 weeks before the clubs' biggest game in 20 years. Am hoping these are old quotes dragged by the media.

When i read the title of the topic i assumed it was gonna be Milan saying how frustrated he is to go 20 games without scoring. unfortunately it's the total opposite.

I argued Baros's case on this forum all season long but if these comments are real and recent i think Fu..ck off Milan.

I believe Cisse will start on the 25th and there will likely be tantrums from Milan (again)

Never stopped moaning when Owen was here "Boo Hoo I never get the chance to prove what I can do "   Owen leaves , Cisse hospitalised soon after .Hey Fu*king presto ,congratulations Baros you're our number one striker ,NOW show us what you can do ..................... (six months later ) Is that it ? ,13 goals ? the same as Garcia ? and just ahead of Gerrard ?
And he's got the nerve to complain that now Cisse is fit he's being subbed !
Fu'ck off sunshine ,you been a waste of space .

see ya Milan, mind the door don't bang you on the a*se on the way out :p

It's a shame cos he (at times) looked like he could become a very good player for us but he just can't quite crack it I'm afraid. And there's only one thing worse than a player who just isn't good enough - a player who isn't good enough and does nothing about it but sulk

Baros will go in the summer.

Rumour has it Benitez doesn't really fancy him but had to persist with him due to injuries.

I'll be livid if he goes - he's got bags of potential, and with more sharpness around goal would be an absolutely lethal player. Playing on his own up front has done him no favours really, and I'm sure the goal stats this year would have been very different (ie: better) had Cisse and Pongolle not missed most of the season.

Really hasn't done himself any favours with some of his comments though. I can see Rafa hauling him in for a serious chat on the back of this.

I think he will go, what good is a headless chicken who can't deliver goals consistently for us
That it what Rafa must be thinking, stick anyone next to a giant who wins all the flick ons also with Nedved and Rosicky feeding the balls through and your bound to score eventually

I like him when he gives defenders a nightmare but i think Cisse and Morientes will be before him next season if he stays

Isn't it annoying how someone voices his displeasure the moment he is unhappy with someone or something?

The moment Baros complaints, the posts just pile up.

Well I got a message for Baros,

"Go f#ck yourself".

He's ridicilious, he's been on the bench once or twice and hasn't gotten taken off a game more than five times and he's complaining. He's had tons of chances to score goals and he's blown them, 13 goals in 40 some games is not good enough.

He can f#ck off

I hope that Cisse does develops into a good player for us, but prior to his injury he really didn't look the part.  I think he is the type of player that that would welcome the ball bein played in front of him to run onto.  I don't think he has the touch really to be effective receiving the ball to feet with his back to the goal.  Early season with him and baros up front together, it didnt work.  They just seemed to run into each other all game long.

I would start with baros in istanbul.  Cisse is fast but only in a stright line, I am sure the milan defence wouldn't have too many problems playing aginst that, whereas baros is a touch more unpredictable.

Great post. I've been saying this for a long time.

But I also said that he can be worked with. In all honesty he was poor before his injury. But you could see in the Arsenal game that he has already improved. I think he will get a lot of attention from Rafa in pre-season, if he is willing and intelliginat enough to learn and Rafa and his staff work on him, I definately think he can become a 20 goal a season striker.

But still very raw, nowhere near the finished article.

There was a story ealier in the week saying that we wouldn't accept less than 8MIL, but I think he will go for between 6-8MIL.
